Fulwood, I don't think its just the lack of JOC, although we think of Egan as a hard man physically he's not actually that big. The next centre back we sign needs to have a physical presence and be able to play. Hard to find I know but thats the reality as apart from McBurnie we are lacking in height in the box .

The lad id go for is the Millwall centre back Cooper. Weve been linked before, he's the right age, massive and left sided, maybe not good enough for the premier but we.wont be there that much longer.

He typifies the modern day (all be it a few years back now) footballer, where he has an outstanding season with an average club like Newcastle and is sold to a top club like Liverpool for stupid money and a shit load in wages and then bombs out as he is found out to be only just above the average standard player. To be fair, he did come on for the last 20 minutes at Reading and caused a fair bit of trouble for the defence. For the first 70 minutes they ( Reading) where shocking attack wise , don’t really see him as a 90 minute player but last 20 will be a handful especially for our lightweight defenders.
