Anyone seen him play? We could really do with a decent midfielder

He's a right back/right wing back by trade. I think he made the bench against Wolves as there were 9 spots and he's one of the more senior development players. I doubt he'll feature much, if at all, for the rest of the season.

Played in midfield for Grimsby but been playing RB or RCB for our 23’s so might not be what you’re looking for barn

He's automatically been added to the list of first team players on google because he was on the bench against Wolves, it's auto generated, google don't have someone with inside information updating every clubs squad list...

Don’t underestimate where Google hides !!

JOC in your odds and sods column seems a bit harsh. Could you create a Sad face for crocked legends column

How do you rate Starbuck by the way
It's early days for rating Starbuck. Simple assessment is - he's not standout & is no better nor worse than his immediate contemporaries. In particular Femi Seriki & Nicksoen Gomis & Jean Belehouan. In his first games, he was impressive as a right wing back. Very aggressive going forward and always looking to be involved. I actually think his performance has dropped off a bit since then, more likely to be just sitting in. They've tried him as a right centre back as well.

(I agree with your point about the Odds n Sods column and I've changed it for future versions)

What's you take on Seriki?

He looked an athletic lad in his one 1st team outing

Again, it's not that long since he came back from his loan. So there's not too much data for an assessment. Again, he's not a standout. All at a level with Starbuck, Gomis & Belehouan. I tend to think of Seriki as a bit of a one trick pony. Powerful bursts forward (often through the inside right channel rather than out wide), but often runs out of ideas once that's done. That's fine at Academy level, as we're now another 60 yards up the pitch. But, I'd like him to show a few more passing & crossing skills once he's got there. And maybe he goes missing a little defensively.

seen Seriki twice since he came back initially lost a lot of confidence but later performance he looked back to something like his old self, good ability to get beyond defenders but tends to make the wrong decisions re whether to go inside or outside and when to release the ball. Long way to go yet

Does anyone know if he's actually any good? Signed last year and plays RWB. Him or Gordon might be needed saturday..
