Sanders not my main concern to be honest. Robinson LWB, Basham is forgetting how to defend. Foderingham is so small for a goalkeeper. Sharps passed it missing sitters week after week. McGoldrick is getting worse by the season.

Lawrence’s first goal is such bad defending. Bogle has the chance to win it/ take him down probably a yellow card. Bash gets skinned. Egan tries to stand him up even though he’s got a shooting opportunity in the box.

Berge was very poor today. I watched him the whole game and despaired. Backwards and sideways. How we paid that sum of money for him defies reason. He is slow, makes no effort, never sets up any attacks. Hopeless.
Having said that so we’re the rest. Really boring, slow and frustrating to watch. Up to their goals they were worse although they did press us, which is more than we did to them.

Berge and Norwood might be two of our better passing midfielders but there is hardly any vertical movement up the field.

Say what you want about Fleck in recent times but he does progress the ball up the field.

They are far too static. The midfield needs another person in there. So very disappointed to see how they worked as a pairing. On paper I was pleased to see them together but this game really showed the limitations of both of their games.

Very poor performance, creates nothing and constantly plays the safe simple ten yard pass invariably back to the player who’s just passed it to him. On the few occasions he tried to slide it through the channel he made it so obvious that every time they were intercepted

Reagan Slater would be a far better option, at least he’d relish the opportunity to play for United and give his last breath for the team. Berge looks like he couldn’t be less interested tbh

He clearly doesn't fit in to any way we've tried to play. Wants to play quarterback and do nothing else. Not sure his passing is better than Norwood's but we essentially have 3 midfielders who play in the same position.

We need to sell him asap because his value is going to keep going down and he's going to have very little impact on games at this level.

Sander Berge will be a quality player with class players around him , his style of play doesn't suit the Championship or us and there is not enough quality in our team to compliment his strengths .

RND , Robinson, Bogle , Mcgoldrick, Sharp , and its debatable if Bash , Egan and Norwood did any better than Berge !
