Feel sorry for those who were going but I didn't like the Monday then Wednesday turn round. Now can give the players the weekend off and work on Monday for our set up against Hull

Don't like Monday to Wednesday turn around?? At this rate we will end up playing a game every day of the week just to catch up! 😂

The blessing in disguise is that we can still work on the lads in training and it gives extra time to any of our squad who have been carrying niggles. MGW might also have missed BD whereas hopefully (provided Wolves don't pull the plug on his loan) he will be available for the rearranged fixture.

It also gives us a chance to "blend" some of the U23s into the 1st team setup, are any others ready to make the jump. Naturally we could try them in the one guaranteed no context game away at Wolves but we could save a few quid if we can get one or two known to the first team if ready.

Ahhh shit nuts

At least it gives more time for didz/MGW/mcburnie/Berge to all be 100%

Surely Preston should be cancelling their fixture on 30th as well then assuming all cases were recorded today as that would be their final day in isolation.

Rumour going round that all the PNE lads had their Christmas do last week when Millwall match was called off and they've caught it from that.

EFL needs to start getting on top of this or season will end up a farce

Utd are not going to end up having to play 4 games in space of 8 days like the Millers had to last season with matches they had postponed thanks to the COVID bug. There's the QPR home game, PNE away now to be re-arranged and their is bound to be more games called off in the next months or so with this COVID bug

I'm more fucked off as reckon that's the last opportunity we'll have to see them for a while if Bungling Boris locks us out after boxing day as is rumoured.

I will be amazed if either the Hull or Boro games go ahead, and even if they do they may not allow spectators in 😢 UTB

Lowest league in Europe in terms of jab %. I am all for personal choice but there now needs to be some form of consequence. Fine if you don’t want a jab but no pay for 2 weeks if you catch covid. It’s an entertainment business and one where you get paid handsomely for doing it. Time to just balance the equation for me. Totally respect choice on jabs to be clear, but when you cost others financially then you have to be prepared to take the consequence. We all know jabs don’t stop you getting it but they do hugely reduce your chances of getting it. No other country is suffering sport cancellations due to player choice like we are and the championship is the lowest of the lot.

You can’t force the jab on people though , and if it’s not in their contract you can’t fine them !

If you were planning on going to Preston, you should be glad it’s off - you would have turned up on Monday and found that the game had already been played on Sunday🤣

Four Championship games on 26 December and 11 more across the EFL have been called off because of Covid-19 cases.

Cardiff City v Coventry City, Stoke City-Barnsley, Peterborough United-Reading and Preston v Sheffield United have been postponed in the second tier.
Five matches in League One and six in League Two have also been called off.

It’s a new world and of course you can’t force anyone but if you impact others in any job there is always a consequence. Yet to see any players of any club offering to help out fans for train and hotels.

Hull game will go
Prepare for Saturday Tuesday & Thursday

Don’t want a situation where we have a fixture pile up at the end of the season and parent clubs don’t extend loans.
