how about ian bennet from huddersfield, he looked pretty good last night :D

How about Mike Pollitt? Not getting on bench for Wigan.

Also dont shoot me down for suggesting the next name what about trying to get Forte back on loan? we need pace and he has it and he has done it at this level

Vito Mannone from Arsenal? Was on loan at Hull last season. Could be a bit unrealistic though.

Carlo Nash doesn't look like getting a game at Stoke either behind Begovic and Sorensen.

forgive me for pointing this out but isnt Forte a kinda non goalkeeper kinda player, and pace not really a needed in a keeper :)

ah but the thread title says number one priority. Therefore you could argue that we need pace as well as a new keeper

tommy lee.. chesterfield.. a proper blades goalkeeper.. (bit of charachter, not a cardboard cutout)

but would tommy lee want to come to a club in the same division, albeit a team closer to the top and how much would he cost us considering we seem to not have much of a pot to urinate in to :)

The bloke relys on confidence and if/when he makes a mistake then he'll inevitabally make another and so on. You'll never cut out 100% of mistakes, but you can work on it affecting your game. Given his history of howlers I'm not convinced that's still possible for him to do at the Lane but likely he's on silly money so not much chance of anyone coming in for him, even on loan.

Given that we've got no cash then unless we can offload Simmo at the same time as bringing someone in I wouldn't have thought we could afford to bring someone in AND have Simmo on the bench.

With that in mind we're probably doomed.

As it doesn't define what the No1 Priority relates to, we could read into it anything.

SUFC - 3 points Saturday.

Me personally - eat my ham sandwich now, I'm starving...

Just read in mirror ipswich after Lowton and way we sold Slew he should go and then we can bring in a keeper on loan if we get paper work to FA in time? And not blame a computer glich or whatever it was?
