That a Yorkshire club , after having a brilliant first season back in the prem - and spending £130 million on transfers - with a manager who is stubborn and won’t change his ways - who suffer injuries to key players - where their best player is the goalie

…..get relegated in their second season …..

never gunna happen

That Fulham v The Mighty Blades goes ahead tomorrow night, as many of the Fulham players will no doubt associate with a number of players from other London Clubs who have been hit just as bad as anywhere else (covid cases) but are more numerous in closer proximity, personnel wise. IMHO

Personally think they will want to play, both WBA & Bournemouth dropping points , chance to put a bit of daylight between them and other 2.

Not that it matters, but Dirty Leeds have 800% as many points as we had at this stage last season.
They sure do and I’m not saying they will go down but it’s great to see them getting spanked

bielsa and Leeds were the darlings of the prem last year - bielsa was hailed as a magician (where have we heard all that before) and now he is being blamed for the way his team are playing - setting them up to play like in the school Playground ,Souness said .

Interesting how the tide changes and heros become idiots from the same people who hailed them 10 mins ago

I have just been reading the Leeds forum. The parallels with Chris Wilder's achievement with a unique system and the team being better than the sum of the parts is striking. Leeds fans are very critical of the money spent on bad players, and still relying on the Championship squad. When the teamwork and system are so crucial, both teams are finding it impossible to buy "better players" to fit in the team. Then the premier league work out the system, and then it comes down to who has the better (and usually the higher paid) players. Now many Leeds fans want to change Bielsa, and criticise him for sticking with a system that is no longer working! So we lose patience with Jokanovic, for not succeeding in playing a different style with the same players. I think we are now right to play the system that suits most of the players and evolve the team with a plan, and move on the the players who look bad (or maybe just are bad) in our system. Not sure about Jokanavic, but he probably had no chance of succeeding as he was never going to get the players he needed, so a wasted appointment.

2 games against 2 realty shit teams one with ten men had us hanging on for the last 15
You can’t gauge change on that we still look missing and it’s papering over the cracks

Well the dirties were having a good old giggle at our expense last season, not laughing now are they. That's about as much as a toss that I give about Leeds.

I’m still transfixed by how much of a gap in ability there was between City and Leeds t’other neet

Yeah as my missus supports Leeds I've seen most of the matches and been to one this season and at the Brentford match it was interesting to hear the comments shouted at the team some of it mirroring our thoughts of last season.

Dallas, Klich get a lot of grief. They dont seem to like James, and I could see why he wastes a lot of chances when several times there were 1 or 2 other players in space in the box who would surely have scored.

The above I thought they were good players how wrong I was.

Cooper is a bit like their JoC he went off injured (again) they are suffering badly from injuries. Bamford still not fully fit and is their key player when he doesnt play they struggle to score.

Tyler Roberts who they used to hate has come good and is probably one of their best players now he is used in a more MGW type role than a pure Striker.

One shining light they have is Joe Gelhardt he is a very good prospect and scores goals I can see him being snapped up by one of the bigger clubs if he keeps going the way he has been playing.

Back on topic UTB for tonight (if its still on)
