They havent won, we havent lost and are joint top. They go down to 10 men after 20 minutes and STILL we can't win at that frigging ground!! The true definition of a bogey team, I won't be paying to go there again until the curse has finished!

To be fair, it sounded like the closest we come to w awin. I have watched the football league show over and over and cant understand how Ched misses the open net at the end? anyone behind the goal care to clarify?

Do you mean Cresswell's miss? It wasn't near the end though, but was as big a sitter as I've seen. No idea how he didn't score. Don't remember Evans one and we were right behind the goal.

It was as quinns ? Shot rebounded off the bar and bounced down near the goaline
Cheddar and another threw themselves at it
Any contact and it surely would have been the winner

T'was Ched and Doyle at the end.

Doyle was pretty certain they were pushed out of the way and unlucky not to get a pen.

well i dont but they do seem to be out bogey but i did know about this until last season at bramall lane as we dominated scunthorpe could have easily won 6-0/7-0 as we hit posts 3 times, bar twice, 1 cleared off the line & 2 stonewall turned down.

but a point might be turning point

wasnt at the game but on tv it looked that the keeper had flicked the ball away with his foot and Ched was too late

I was bang behind the net, first row and have not got a clue how they didn't put the rebound in between them. All either of them had to do was get something on it, goal. Couldn't believe how their keeper kept the initial cross-shot out either, once it took a deflection I thought that one's looping in. Bleeding Scunny.

As Ched was about to head it in, a defender blocks him and while a penalty could have been given, I think it's a situation where it's very hard to judge in real time.

Same with the sending off maybe, looked very harsh when watching the video. Doyle looked like he'd just stepped on a land mine though. Did he exaggerate and are we ok with that?

Just watched the highlights and they suggest it is 2 points dropped, rather than a point gained. Not that this is not a decent away point in the circumstances.

First half it was (obviously all Scunny) and only poor finishing (criminal defending by JFL when they hit the bar) and a decent save kept us from being a couple down. That said, Collins missed a sitter. He should have buried that header. Free header and they were queueing up behind him (think Porter would also have had free header if Collins had left it). Their goal was excellent. That really was like watching Brazil! A brilliant counter attack. Could not really see the sending off from the video (despite several replays). Seemed harsh, but the referee was well positioned and seemed certain in his judgement.

Second half completely different story. How on earth did we not go on to win it. Tonne and Cressy spurned good chances (the latter being a criminal offence). An excellent move, where we carved open the Scunthorpe defence, saw Mendez-Laing hit the post. Well taken, sharp equaliser from Ched. Cresswell deserves credit for sticking his head in (bravely). Will he claim another assist for that? Then Doyle hits the bar with a header and at the very end, how did that stay out? What a save from their keeper! The reboud looks like a penalty to me. Thier defender definately gives Ched a shove. They would argue that it was shoulder to shoulder, but my (partisan) take is that Evans would have buried it, had it not been for a shoulder in the back.

On another day (and against another team) we would have won easily. We have rod our luck a couple of times this season (Tranmere away, Yeovil away and Walsall at home) and got away with it, but on Saturday lady luck was not on our side.

It didnt show the Cresswell miss and what a miss it was too. I think Ched was a tad unlucky with the chance at the end.
On the sending off we were on the side and when Doyle goes off the pitch after receiving treatment he did appear to wink at the blade fans (must have had something in his eye)
