I see Jean-Francois is on 4. Don't youy get suspended when you get 5?

If so, who will fit in at left back when the inevitable happens?

Either an unnamed signing or failing that I'd imagine Lowton will temporarily switch with Parrino coming in on the right.

Go on then dazzler, what's the record for the quickest 5 yellow card suspension earned by a United Player? I'll make things easy for you and say just from 1950 onwards....:)

How far off is Andy Taylor? And wasn't there talk of an 'international left back' coming in this week?

Well that's 5 for Jean-Francois. Is it a record? 7 league games in and already suspended through 5 cards.

Didn't Keith Gillespie set the red card record albeit as a sub

The number of cards in our direction does seem to be disproportional to the fouls committed by both sides, when looking at some of our game stats.

I do think we tend to be picking up our cards more for the retaliation foul when the ref seems to overlook the first offence. I guess any fan is going to side with their own team the majority of the time but I do feel that we seem to be carrying a tag of "big boys who can look after themselves" rather than gaining much protection from the officials.

At Yeovil there was definitley a hint of the ref evening things up. I can't remember the card count but they were definitley more guitly than us, yet it didn't seem to be reflected with the cards.

Wally Downes sent off at L**ds in the 1st half for fighting with Mark Aizlewood in March 1988. Played in next game at home to Ipswich and scored from a FK (at that time suspensions started two weeks after the sending off). On his return from suspension he gets sent off after only 8 minutes for a waist high tackle on Bradford City's Karl Goddard

LJF has a very unorthodox way of defending and has a way of looking like he's playing with his boots on the wrong feet. Saying that he's very effective going forward.

On the brighter side though still no reds for the blades this season and that is an improvement.

fastest red card i believe

I believe Vinny Jones has the record for the fastest yellow card (whilst playing against us).
Keith Gillespie has the record for the fastest red card after appearing on the pitch (vs Reading away, on as a sub, officially timed at 0 seconds as the game hadnt actually restarted. I think someone else once did it in 0 seconds too so it is a joint record.)
I think Kevin Pressman has the record for the fastest red card from kickoff.

This is what my memory recalls. All, none, or some of this may or may not turn out to be true.
