Today was the Sheffield Utd way.
Tempo, crosses, high press, shots and passion for the shirt.

Reminded me of when Warnock came in, after the horrendous Heath spell, and we started doing all the things footballers should do but don't always.

A breath of fresh air today, after the turgid fayre that preceded it.
 



The bit I liked most about Heckys comments today was when he was saying that no one would be surprised if we won next week or lost as any one team in the Championship can beat any other and if your not at it then you will get beat. Bravo about time our players fully understood that again.

To me it seems that out players possibly believed themselves better than they are in that they thought themselves better than the Championship and were consistently out worked, beaten to the 2nd ball etc.

As with everything in life, you need to work hard at something to achieve. Maybe the players are having that drilled into them again now.
 
A good start for him, and definitely a noticeable difference in terms of the energy levels and how we set about it. The opposition were as poor as I've seen this season, but it was good to see MGW play with more freedom, I think that was a big difference in terms of our attacking play.

I was critical of the appointment and I won't be fickle, I still hold my own reservations on PH as a manager for us in the long term, along with the entire situation at the Football club which of course he inherits. I accept that is nothing to do with him.

At the moment in the short term, he's the gaffer, but he also still might be in the mode of being 'the players mate'. Long term as he sets his own standards, that can change, but that's the same for any manager. However, on the flip side of all that, perhaps PH will provide a steady pair of hands during this uncertain, transitional period, which is perhaps where we are as a club right now.

First time I've listened to the post match interviews since the first couple of games of the season. Good interviews from Hecky and Sharp.

The delight on the players faces tells a lot.A Vale has been lifted off the players .
Not saying we can crash the playoffs but the team played with freedom and enjoyed it like we did despite the weather..thanks Hecki! this only a start..😆

no reason we cant reach the play offs most teams in this league are very average keep the aggresion to win the ball back high tempo and converting the numerous chances we create every game and i think we can finish top 6
