I don't have much faith in the Prince's real understanding of how to run a club like ours successfully. I cant see that there have been many (any?) good decisions since he and his crew took over. Personally Id rather McCabe have won the court case, he was far from perfect but the better of the two options in my view.
There is clearly a money problem at the club. The Prince hasn't much and there is a huge amount tied up in very expensive underperforming players no one else seems to value.
So the one good thing that may come out of this? Well its a recognition that we are in for a time of consolidation and its better that nettle is grasped by supporters asap.
Many supporters will once again disappear, annoyed and disgusted and let down, like when this has happened before (1966 1975, 2010 come to mind, oh and that year Deane and Fjiortoft were sold) And will be back when things turn round which you have to hope for.
Its sad and it pisses me off that it comes to this. I think of the Norwich match pre-covid when things looked so brilliantly rosy.
But I've seen quite a bit of the U23s recently and what I have seen I've liked. We could have done much worse than Hecky. Let him get to work and see what happens.
