Can someone please explain what happened. Was it a bad tackle? Did he collapse? Whatever it was get well soon John.
Didn't see the second it happened. It wasn't a tackle or injury don't think.
The crowd were all shouting (Reading fans nearest).
Fleck was down and his legs were twitching about, crowded with a few players. Looked bad. Staff straight on. Bit was sat up before being stretchered off to hospital.

Looked like a seizure to me. Which brought to mind that mystery incident last season, where he reportedly was admitted to hospital during the week, but then played the following Saturday. Left unexplained at the time, and since.

I hope I’m wrong. But it reminded me very much of an acquaintance from the past who had a condition that left him prone to collapse. I won’t speculate further on here, as it doesn’t feel right.

Fingers crossed for you, Mighty John Fleck.

I rewound it back on sky to the moment before we broke away on the attack and he looked to be turning around disorientated and next thing you saw when the camera came back was him having a seizure.

Scary to watch so I can’t imagine what his family & friends must have been - and will still be - going through, especially being so far away from the lad.

Hope he’s well and makes a full & speedy recovery.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for our Scottish hero 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Football results pale into insignificance when something like that happens, but I like to think the backs to the wall performance was a bit of spirit to get a win for their mate. Can’t underate the players carrying on in the face of something like that. Class from Bill if he helped with the stretcher

Was so pleased to hear he was up albeit with help and oxygen before leaving the stadium.
Goodness knows what it was but looked like a fit/seizure. What the cause was I'm guessing is unknown yet.

Think afterwards the team wanted that win that bit more too so pleased to see us grind it out for Fleck and the squad.

Glad I didn't give him stick at the start of this thread , Why ?? because he's one of my favs players , get well soon John , get yer sen back in the red and white soon .

whatever happens with him we will always remember that shot buried in the pigs net in front of their stykop get well soon john lad 🥲

TBH result didn’t matter after you saw his feet fitting on the ground only thought was for him and his family. Credit to our players for holding it together and completing game under those circumstances. True Blades ♥️

What happened with Flecky has taken the shine off the win, Get well soon lad.
Health is more important than football to most of us, some in the shoutbox though shame on you.

Well said. Talking about whether he'd drive again whilst he was laid out on the pitch.

Fuck me.

A time to sit-up and think when we are calling our players, yes our players all the names under the sun.

Constructive criticism only from now please
Absolutely, enough is enough. On another thread someone is calling Stevens a c*** because he’s been in poor form. Is that really what we’ve been reduced to? Fine to criticise and get frustrated, but some people really need to get a grip.

Taken from the BBC.

"I didn't see exactly what happened," Jokanovic added. "One moment he fell down. It was a really complicated situation.

"He is conscious in hospital and he asked for the result. We hope everything will be OK with him.

Asked for the fucking result, he might have had a tough time recently with the fan base but you've got to admire that.

All the Best Flecky boy

It's been hard not seeing him quite himself but he's class, absolutely lorded it over Man U and Liverpool at home, City and Arsenal away, head and shoulders above anyone else on the park.

As someone else said it's a bit worrying that he had that spell last year where they didn't find owt....but bloody all sorts can cause seizures so no jumping to conclusions, let's hope it was a fluke, that they get to the bottom of it and that the feller's fine 🤞🏼

MGWs attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to making the most of this opportunity to not only play but fit in with the lads and club impressed me from his opening comments on signing. He may well end up going back or we may get lucky and it suits both clubs for him to stay here. He's impressed on the pitch and shown from his occasional comments that he's a decent young lad, MGW. Finger's XD for Flecky. He may have been low on form but no worse than 7 or more regular starters have been since the latter half of our first prem season but he's a legend of two promotions and some fantastic performances pre=Covid 19. His smiling face will be a loss on the pitch, let's hope he's able to come back from this. UTB
