And he answered them by changing things around and we looked instantly better. Strangely he did the same Saturday. 2 of our last 3 defeats can be primarily put down to the performance of the man in the middle.

The team plays without heart at the moment. Doesn't seem much pride in the shirt or desire to put bodies on the line to defend.
He is an uninspiring technical coach. We get dominated by wank championship refs and shithousing away coaching teams. Yet nothing changes. Game in game out same players play in the same way.
Home form is poor and we are a soft touch. Always grabbing a defeat from a draw etc.
Not really my type of blades team.
I can see where we are trying to go but we don't have the players to do that currently. Its a long way off.
Think Heckingbottom would have done better with this squad and he is a proven managerial failure.

SJ has a huge problem motivating these players. Defending our own box has been abysmal and yet game after game after game, closing down on the edge of our own box is not done. F@#king well shout at them/motivate fleck, Egan, Davies and Norwood etc to actually get stuck in! Bodies on the line please. If they don't want to or can't - then get Guidoura, Slater and Brunt in who might want to. He won't though and we will just carry on conceding the same type of goal in every game.

You saw that we were poor but forgot he changed it around and we looked like the better team until the MGW red card, right..? It's nice to see a manager have the balls to change it around so early in a game. As soon as he did make a change we looked much better. Slav needs at least two more transfer windows imo. Don't blame Slav for the shite he's inherited.

He's been left with complete frauds like brewster and mcburnie taking up a large amount of the wage budget and yet offering nothing so it won't happen overnight.

You can quite rightly ask questions because it simply hasn't been good enough thus far. He keeps trying to stamp his style of play on this team ( what ever that is) & it clearly isn't working so why not try and find another way of playing until you have the players that can actually give you what your wanting? Is he still the manager he once was? He facked off to Qatar because he couldn't get a job over here you didn't see clubs clambering to bring him back. I remember alot of blades absolutely spunking in there pants when we appointed Adkins (promotion guaranteed) most thought, I was underwhelmed to say the least an the same seems to be happening again we look disjointed devode of any fight & quality.

We don’t have any money, Prince isn’t rich enough to back us on a promotion charge. We’re going to have 4/5 first team & squad players leave this summer.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better, and the worst could be years again.

It'll be a decade at least before we make it back to the PL. It always is.

If the owner thinks that Slav is here to rebuild the squad I don’t see why such short term recruitment with players that don’t appear to fit Slavs style of play joined in the summer.

I think that the owner needs us to be promoted this season or next. If Slav fails to trouble the play-offs this season, I think there will be a change.

Its weird that he keeps selecting the failures and is ignoring Brewster, McBurnie and Mousse. Didz and Sharp shouldn't be kept on longer than the end of the season. We need about 10 new players in to this squad and to bin off about 15. As a comparison we managed to get 3/4 new players in the last window and only managed to get one out, we now have a bloated squad with big money players not even in the matchday squad.
SJ reign feels a bit like positive Nigels and hopefully he can do a similar sort of job this season of getting rid of some of the deadwood and then we can sack him and appoint someone who can build us back up again with promising permanent transfers, like Wilder did.
It needs at least 3 windows or a much bigger throughput of players. Not sure I trust SJ to do that level of squad building.
