I don’t understand why those two things are at all connected? Do we have to show disrespect to managers when they leave, and if so, why?

I think the problem for some (which I understand) is that Wilder showed no respect to the club, it’s employees and the fans in the way that he left so some are returning the favour.
Personally I loved and respect what he did for us as a football manager but I can’t bring myself to respect the man after all the lies and double-standards since late Christmas.
