I just don't see how any of the other guys; McGoldrick, Brewster, McBurnie, Mousset, Burke (we are overstocked) can dislodge him after that performance. Sharp gives us strength, link up, finishing & a lot of nous.

If we're planning on dominating the ball then the pace of Mousset & Burke becomes redundant. MGW and Ndiaye seem to offer the qualities that McGoldrick usually brings, linking the play. So you're left with McBurnie & Brewster. They offer bits & pieces of what Sharp does but not as much. Not from what we've seen anyway.
I'd like to see both of them play with MGW and Ndiaye, but they're only worth cameos at present.

Not seen the replay but from my seat on the kop the defender fouled him outside the box but Billy stayed on his feet. The defender then fouled him again well inside the box. Nailed on penalty.
Shame, because I thought the ref was pretty decent apart from that. (Couldn't tell if there's was a pen or not).

WTF was he doing slaloming past defenders at the end. Players his age aren't supposed to do that.

From the Kop, it looked inside the box to me. Not seen a replay of it though.

From TV, live, it looked like a penalty but replays showed although he nudged the ball past the defender quite far in to the box, the foul was just on the edge.
