...Would you get a season ticket?

This is purely for people who currently are undecided to get a season ticket.

I'm interested to know who would be persuaded to get one purely on the ambition shown by United.

I've already renewed my ticket so won't skew your poll by answering but it was touch and go whether I did and, had I opted not to, a signing like Beattie would definitely have swayed me to.

I haven't renewed yet but I have every intention of doing so. Having said that, every time I set off for the box office, I end up getting sidetracked by stuff like the smell of HP fruity sauce, or bees which hum in a barber's shop acapella style or a cloud which looks like Jan Akkerman, so I've not made it yet. Maybe if Beattie signed it would focus my mind more and enable me to reach my destination?

I've renewed. Two of my mates (OK then, my two mates) have not. They would renew if BT returned. I, on the other hand ( and hypothetically of course) would not, but would do so immediately upon hearing The Maestro had finally become someone else's burden.

I wont be getting a season ticket for a good while yet. I can only do midweekers due to work committments, but I would be happy to see him return.

Probably should have read mousys question better really .I am out for a myriad of reasons and apologise if I have skewed the results

It's OK. Everyone knows you just like to be an awkward bastard :)

signings of that calibre would make me try and stretch the student finance to getting a season ticket. if i wasnt doing my pgce, id have renewed when the price freeze was in play.

Bought my season ticket already, but if by some miracle we resign that useless two-hat I'll be in to the ticket office demanding my money back.

What good is a so-called leader of the line when he can't be arsed 95% of the time.

I'm not a fan of BT one of the most overrated players we have ever had given his fee and wages. Nice pen and free kick, otherwise can be a selfish drain on the team and club.

Having said that I do realise that most fans were taken in by him so signing him would generate a stir. Unfortunately whilst it would add a few more STs it won't translate into a massive ST rush given the prices and that once people have decided they won't pay the price/get one it's hard to convince them.

Better to sign BT and then re-launch STs at the discount price with a big push on selling them to the 10,000 names we have on the database of those who stopped renewing since last year.

It's not rocket science, it would bring in more cash and be good for the club on and off the pitch but it won't happen.

Unlike Pinchy I have not renewed yet,but I never have done until the last possible minute.
However, should the "Maestro" be sold before the season starts, I will not renew and you can shove both Craig and James Beattie up Raul's posterior so far that he can sing Sunshine on Leith in the best Soprano ever !!

Wondering what would convince raul to sign up.....

If the half time entertainment consisted of 16 year old boys, dancing close together in tight leather shorts then Uncy would be down the ticket office quicker than you could say "Stick us a new air freshener in the bogs please Uncle Richard".

Just goes to show how people rate different players. I for one do not think we should have sold BT when we did.

BT can get a game with a championship club like donny or Barnsley he won't be signing for us no idea where this rumour has come from.

According to RS McCabe says it is not happening, just a rumour and wrong. Obviously I believe every word of this man.

I've just posted similar on Rumour section, KMc says there has been no contact and there's no truth in the rumour, but he said that when he left didn't he?
