To be fair, his dress sense was the most disappointing thing about today’s match.

He wore the suit and ties as normal and just had a club top on over the suit due to the rain.

It's a good point but goes back to us being a muck o' nettles club. We don't have fancy managers/continental bosses

In my time let's have a look....

Porterfield - Tracksuit mostly but did wear a suit or shirt and tie a few times I recall?
McEwan - Tracksuit
Bassett - Started with a suit and then quickly went Tracksuit
Kendall - Suit or certainly shirt and tie - he wore that awful one at Wembley - rare fairly successful suit wearer
Spackman - Again bit of a mix but more tracky
Bruce - Tracksuit
Heath - Jumper/Warm up top?
Warnock - Full kit with tracky on top!
Blackwell - Tracksuit but think he wore a suit a few times too?
Speed - Suit - struggled - near the bottom
Adams - Tracksuit
Wilson - Suit
Weir - Suit
Clough- Jumper/tracky
Adkins - Suit
Wilder - Suit at first but then tracky almost all the rest of the way
Slav - Suit


So the suit wearing period has been circa 2010 onwards with only Wilder and Clough bucking the trend?

However only Wilson to some degree and Kendall had any real success

The 3 best Bassett, Warnock and Wilder all were tracky wankers I mean winners

Today Slav started his transition from suit to tracky and kind of went both. Thinking us dicks would not notice. Eagle eyed us lot. Next game he should shirt, tie and tracky bottoms tucked into his socks. Shock us all.

The last game started to pour rain which ruined the suit he wore.
Today it was raining before the game started. A couple of the starting 11 would have been put to better use holding an umbrella for him.
