We could have signed the exact same keeper on a one year deal. There is literally no reason at all to give him more more than 12 months. None.You don’t know that….he may have had other offers on the table. Plus you’re suggesting then that we could have signed a better keeper on a shorter deal. Maybe given we needed a keeper this was the best option from others available. Not like we were signing a third keeper as cover while having a clear 2 fit and ahead of him…he was basically coming in as a number 2 given Moore’s injury.
Interesting that Wilder has suddenly become a manager who loved to waste the clubs money. Odd
You do not give multiple year contracts to players who carry zero value in the transfer market. It's terrible use of resources. If you need to replace him you have to pay him to leave. It was amateurish and naieve
