11:40am on now

looking to get a new club
hes a better manager now
enjoyed the rest
I’m being judged on back of a relegation
waiting for a club to start season badly to create an opening for him
thinks people saw us as hard working, working class, get your hands dirty club
Looking at changing game, technology and systems
has been invites to watch some top clubs train
found PL experience draining with intensity of media

The warmest GLTTL i can give, i am definitely intrigued to see where he ends up, and with many other Blades i am sure, I will be looking out for his next club and how he does there. I hope one day he is back and in a much better place when he does return

He's also being judged on his attitude towards the board. WBA would have seen his appalling attitude towards a board who came out and said "even if relegation happens, he's still the man"

Glttl.

I Think he’s a more than capable premier league manager - just needs to spend the money he’s given better.

Needs to be smarter with his emotions and not come out swinging for a chairman who’s backed him both financially and in the face of shit results and performances. Rightly or wrongly that is going to count against him when it comes to how he’s judged by other chairmen

good luck to him, hope he gets another crack at the PL

“A journey that ended abruptly “

Shouldn’t have quit then should ya 👍

Hope he gets a prem job as he deserves one and is a better manager than half the crap managers in that league
Not sure he’ll get a Prem job as he didn’t do very well, over the two seasons.. a legacy that hangs around us like a bad smell into this season. But, he’s undoubtedly a great manager at Championship level and there might be an owner at the top table willing to give it a punt.

How is offering to quit 3-4 times considered an abrupt ending? The journey ended well before he physically left. I bet the players were well pumped in training knowing he wanted out.

Wish him well. Gave us 4 years of joy! Yep it went wrong last season but were still way ahead of where we were at when he came in.

Still talks about this being club he loves, this is never been in doubt and we shouldn't forget this either.
Definitely hints at "what went off" so there's deffo some more side to his story.

Glad he seems to be looking a bit more himself, certainly struggled mentally last season for a host of reasons inc. results, Prince and other factors.

Also did he invent a new word "perspection" ?

It's unbelievable the lack of respect some people give Chris on here, he is the club's greatest ever manager and probably always will be. People seem to forget he dragged the club out of near irrelevance to the point where 352 with overlapping CBS is now pretty much trademarked to him.

Deserves a statue at the lane!

he is the club's greatest ever manager ????

That is your opinion not a fact. I agree he is a fantastic manager but you can't put him above Bassett or John Harris or even the Managers of years gone by that actually won us our only silverware. He's definitely up there with them.

Who do you think are the crap managers in the PL?

My bad I’d say he’s on a par with most of the managers in the bottom half of the prem

He should be first choice for any championship team but his conduct is why he is still out of a job

I suspect he’s doing these interviews to try and repair his character as someone who kicks off

What planet are you on he took a team from mid-table league one finish to 9th in the premier league on the lowest budget in every league bar league one

Only a bad 6 months ended that which unfortunately for CW is only what people remember
