Anyone know much about this fella? He any good?

Solid name, that's one thing for sure.

Usually find these song suggestions mince but can’t help but smile at the thought of the lane belting out a section of Lionels all night long literally all night long

We're going to Party, Ronaldo Vieira, forever
Come on and sing along!

All night long (all night), we will sing this all night (all night)

My Leeds' mate's response when I asked him about RV.

"He was pretty decent for us, to be honest. Most Leeds fans would have preferred him to Phillips when he got sold. Plays CDM really. Think he would be decent for you...I think given a run in a team, would be one of the best players in that league, if he lives up to the potential he had".

Should be announced today. The optional fee is much lower than what is being reported due to our fitness concerns. All in all, potentially a bargain.
Hope we're not going to sign players with fitness concerns! Can't we sign players ready to go ... no more moose type players ... or will we be waiting months for a player to make an appearance ... suppose Slav hoping to make any signing??

From the few clips i've seen of him, think "Pogba" maybe not in his class but does the same job, controls midfield and scores a few goals as well,
very mobile , strong on the ball and moves it quickly, can turn defence into attack very quickly, just what Slav' likes from his team, if he can stay injury free (he has history on injuries) then he is going to be a big player for us!
PS just from watching clips, not first hand knowledge.....don't shoot the poster!
I'm sure others will have seen clips of him, be interested what "others" think?

With all due respect. We can’t go back to didzy every time we sign a crock.

Funny nobody mentions rodwell.
Not about going back, it's more lets just trust the people who know more about us to make these decisions? there's no silver bullet to knowing whether a signing will be good, bad or indifferent. No sure why Rodwell needs mentioning either, he came in to be back up to back up and was never needed

I’m just saying people point to the one risky signing that’s paid off.Not the multiple players we have bought that haven’t paid off.

We can’t constantly turn water to wine.

From the ”highlights reel” I’ve seen think more like Pob 1628085661012.jpeg but maybe not in his class 🥺 UTB

Pretty good signing this will be he was impressive when he played for Leeds (wife is a Leeds supporter) we were surprised when he went. Bielsa must have not liked him. Been playing in Serie A for Sampdoria and Verona but hit with injury 20/21 season though.

Good solid Midfielder just what we need. Few websites just reading now reckon its almost a done deal.

Really great signing imo. Was decent in the Championship all those years ago (can't believe he's still 23!) and has solid Serie A experience now. I think he could be an upgrade on Lundstram almost immediately.

Just read Slav's interview on Sky Sports and there is no way he's signing anyone to just make up the numbers and nor will they be allowed to.

The success of this signing depends entirely on his current fitness & susceptibility to recurrence of injury.
I'm glad it's a loan.
But in terms of helping our promotion campaign , it's a risky signing to some extent.
We now have 3 central midfielders who need to show they are fully recovered from injury (Fleck/back , Berge/hamstring , Vieira/muscle ?).
The other one , Norwood , needs to show he can actually track back instead of pointing at his teammates.
I'm counting Freeman as a no.10

This signing would represent the second player with questionable fitness concerns we've signed since Wilder joined United (Mcgoldrick). Although thinking on we had two loans under Wilder (Restos and Besic) that arguably could fit that description. I'm far more comfortable with a loan and option than a permanent signing here.

Didzy, Rodwell and Ricky Holmes would come under that category I think whilst wilder was here but I agree they were few and far between and often lost cost gambles rather than marquee players
