With a slightly bigger appetite for workapparently, one of the training cones has been found to be more mobile than Lundstrum
Hope we're not going to sign players with fitness concerns! Can't we sign players ready to go ... no more moose type players ... or will we be waiting months for a player to make an appearance ... suppose Slav hoping to make any signing??Should be announced today. The optional fee is much lower than what is being reported due to our fitness concerns. All in all, potentially a bargain.
Anyone know much about this fella? He any good?
Solid name, that's one thing for sure.
David McGoldrick.Hope we're not going to sign players with fitness concerns! Can't we sign players ready to go ... no more moose type players ... or will we be waiting months for a player to make an appearance ... suppose Slav hoping to make any signing??
Didn't think Didzy has any current problems ...David McGoldrick.
From the few clips i've seen of him, think "Pogba" maybe not in his class but does the same job, controls midfield
With all due respect. We can’t go back to didzy every time we sign a crock.David McGoldrick.
Not about going back, it's more lets just trust the people who know more about us to make these decisions? there's no silver bullet to knowing whether a signing will be good, bad or indifferent. No sure why Rodwell needs mentioning either, he came in to be back up to back up and was never neededWith all due respect. We can’t go back to didzy every time we sign a crock.
Funny nobody mentions rodwell.
I’m just saying people point to the one risky signing that’s paid off.Not the multiple players we have bought that haven’t paid off.Not about going back, it's more lets just trust the people who know more about us to make these decisions? there's no silver bullet to knowing whether a signing will be good, bad or indifferent. From the ”highlights reel” I’ve seen think more like PobFrom the few clips i've seen of him, think "Pogba" maybe not in his class but does the same job, controls midfield and scores a few goals as well,
very mobile , strong on the ball and moves it quickly, can turn defence into attack very quickly, just what Slav' likes from his team, if he can stay injury free (he has history on injuries) then he is going to be a big player for us!
PS just from watching clips, not first hand knowledge.....don't shoot the poster!
I'm sure others will have seen clips of him, be interested what "others" think?
I think he is a"cut above" BesicI wouldnt expect him to be in the same class
Fee in excess of £80m and £300k per week
More like think Besic
And less likely to be moaning + looking like he's chewing aWith a slightly bigger appetite for work
The success of this signing depends entirely on his current fitness & susceptibility to recurrence of injury.
I'm glad it's a loan.
But in terms of helping our promotion campaign , it's a risky signing to some extent.
We now have 3 central midfielders who need to show they are fully recovered from injury (Fleck/back , Berge/hamstring , Vieira/muscle ?).
The other one , Norwood , needs to show he can actually track back instead of pointing at his teammates.
I'm counting Freeman as a no.10
Didzy, Rodwell and Ricky Holmes would come under that category I think whilst wilder was here but I agree they were few and far between and often lost cost gambles rather than marquee playersThis signing would represent the first player with questionable fitness concerns we've signed since Wilder joined United. Although thinking one had two loans under Wilder (Restos and Besic) that arguably could fit that description. I'm far more comfortable with a loan and option than a permanent signing here.
