I actually agree, there is a real danger of blades fans being branded as idiots because of this. People think the only reason we don't want him is because he's a pig when it is in fact because he's shit

Jesus Christ. It's been bad enough hearing those numpties singing Wilson out on the Radio Sheffield news. That picture is truly embarassing. What a motley crew. I can only hope this doesn't get out further than the local media. I am truly ashamed to be a Blade (for one of the few times in my life).

God, what a wretched bunch. As humiliating as it is (ive already answered a couple of calls to laughter today), at least that proves its less "blades fans protest" and more "cretins protest". Rabblerabblerabblerabble.

I can see at least three forum members in that picture and one ex-forum member who blew a gasket when, as a throw-away comment, I referred to a significant proportion of the "shoes off" protesters as young chavs.

Having learnt my lesson, I'm backing well away from this thread...
 
Didn't notice any of you lot down there making your feelings against the protesters known in person. It's one thing to have a keyboard opinion but another thing to actually get off your arses and actually express those opinions it seems. Maybe some people feel more passionately about the club being thrown to the dogs than others do about those who feel that way.

Isn't McCabe always telling us there's no bigger supporter of Sheffield United than him? So if he's the biggest Blade then doesn't his argument that supporters know nothing lead to him knowing least of all?

For that reason alone, I wouldn't let him anywhere near our club and if the man had any morals or integrity, he wouldn't have accepted an interview, or applied for the job.

As for McCabe, the fellow has gone right down in my estimation. I used to defend him to the hilt. Thoses days are over and if he had any proper affinity to the fans, he wouldn't have interviewed Wilson, but of course he hasn't has he?

Wilson has a similar track record to Adams and yet Adams is sacked to be replaced by Wilson. What a joke!

On top of that, an ex pig player and an ex pig manager.

Disgraceful decision by McCabe and the board. Instead of uniting the fans and club, they've managed to do the complete opposite

And when Wilson is gone a couple of months into the season, we all know whos fault it will be. You can see it now "we never gave him a chance" "He was never goner win the fans over" Well right, so why did you interview him and employ him knowing that was goner happen?

Why? Because you the reason you employed him was financial

Why? Because you wanted a yes man

There are no other logical reasons for taking the decision you have McCabe

Taking his time to make sure sure the right decision is made! Yeah right!

I wonder what the decision would have been had he made it straight away?

The board and McCabe are so out of touch with the fanbase it borders on clueless!

I called down but I was a little late to the fray, I came after the initial appointment had been made, It was quiet at that point but I also heard it picked up later on again. I couldn't stick around all day I had the very wee lad with me. I don't like that photo, but people are upset... some maybe more than others. Some feel the need to get their point out into the open.

I don't see anything embarrassing in expressing your views and for the people commenting and being derogatory to others opinions, there was a good mix of young old and all different types of Blades there, so it doesn't just upset one type of fan, some of your comments are just as embarrassing I'm afraid (now alot of comments maybe tongue and cheek, and i'm sorry if i've missed read them, but i'm tired and just a bit fed up with our owner). We are all entitled to express our view we are the paying customer and if we don't like something, should we just lay over and except all the time?

Paul Hart got 10 points from 13 games. He took them from out of the relegation places (which is where Swindon were when Wilson resigned) to bottom of the league.
