It’s also been said by journalists who have contacts with our board that there’s no pressure to sell. Yet we should still shit the bed and sell cheap and the main we aren’t signing players in June because we have to sell first.

So far there doesn’t seem to be any transfer activity as of yet. I know Slav doesn’t start until 1st July but I really do think we need a reshuffle of the squad and hope that we’re not content with what we have now, particularly that midfield. Other teams have started to turn the screw and some signings look to be on the verge/already announced.

Transfer window closes on 2nd September. Slav has 3 months to sort out about 6 incoming senior signings after he actually starts the job. I'm sure he's on it already as well.

I didn't suggest we sell them on the cheap, I suggested it is better to sell early for say 90% of their value rather than holding out for 100% until late on.

I think we should sign players now or not at all. Otherwise negotiations might drag on too long, we miss our targets, and the players that know they were being displaced could be unsettled. Just say to clubs "Here's the bid, we want it done by tomorrow afternoon or we're out".

It may well do, not just to save money but to save time and planning on their side as well.

Well you’d have to be clear on what those fears are as you’ve flip/flopped about on what they actively are to cover a few bases.
Is it that we can’t buy until we sell?
Or is it that we won’t make signings to replace Berge if he leaves too late?
Alternately is it that if we drop our demands to wanting £32.5M clubs would be throwing themselves at us to get the deal done early, rather than wait it out as we’ve already shit the bed and dropped the price after saying we wont?

Its just there are now multiple news sources suggesting we have negotiators working on our behalf to line up several deals, and no ones been sold as yet.
There’s also a collective line coming out the club that we’ve set our price and that’s the only bid what we’ll accept, like Dortmund did, which at one point you were also asking for.
