I can’t remember if he has been used at any point in cups but if not have we ever had a player on the books who’s played full international football - possibly even tournament football - before he’s kicked a ball for us? 🤯

Justin Haber and Mihkel Aksalu both played international football (for Malta and Estonia respectively) whilst they were on our books, but never made a first team appearance.

100% needs to be in the squad for next season, none of this let's loan him out again nonsense.

For me I'd start him in every pre season friendly (assuming he doesn't play much for Wales at the euros) with a view to him being 1st choice LB/LWB for the start of the season.

I can’t recall him ever playing a first team game. In years to come, it could be a quiz question, United player who played for his country before he played for us.

I have a similar one for Man United and England and the answer is Ben Foster who made his England debut on loan at Watford in 2007 and his Man U debut the following year. The way clubs store players means it must happen more and more often these days.

He has been with us for 4 years but could play in the Euros finals before playing a competitive 1st team game for us!

Over Sessegnon??? Hahaha

Seriously though RND should very much be in contention for next season - he was quite rightly loaned out as he wasn't ready for the Prem but that looks to have paid dividends based on his performances (and Luton's and Stoke's view of him). Utd playing in the Champ next season will further aid his chances of being kept in the squad and getting plenty of game time, probably at the expense of Bryan, Lowe (who looks as though he'd benefit from a loan himself) and possibly Stevens (if he doesn't find form again).

Sessegnon would be in front of him as wide left forward in slav's ultra attacking 3-4-3 😜

I think we signed Patrick Suffo, then he represented Cameroon in the Olympics before playing for us. Or I'm just remembering The Sheff Utd Way interview wrong.

He looks a better prospect than Bogle does to be honest.
Based on what? He’s a year older than Bogle, and Bogle has achieved more than RND already in his career. Both are good prospects who should be in the squad and getting minutes next season.

Personally, I'd always rather have our own player as first choice left back.

Bit silly to plan the season with someone else's player as your first choice, ey

Based on what Bogle was doing at the back end of last season, and what I saw of RND at Stoke.
