He will for this year as he gets bonus points for it being his first year as a young player. He won’t get a permit to play in England for at least another 2 years will he?
Ah ok. I don’t think we’ll wait that long. Could do with him for next season. Maybe worth cashing in on him and Berge. £40M for both would be nice to add to the transfer budgetHe will for this year as he gets bonus points for it being his first year as a young player.
Wouldn't he still have work permit issues even if SJ was keen to have him back?
No chance we can get a work permit for him yet plus you can’t turn down £10 mil profit in one year on a 19 year old. Lump a 15-20% sell on clause on him and we’re set

Bob would we be able to loan him to another Championship / League 1 club next year, and then have him back for 22/23 season? Would that get around the issue of his points dropping if he were to stay at Beerschot? He qualifies on last season, next season it would be more difficult unless he breaks into the national side and plays 90% of games for his club. The main issue has been that he’s not been that good and massively inconsistent. All to be expected from a kid of course which is why you loan them.

You’d struggle to get the points given the level he’d be playing in league one, championship is the same level but we have an agreement in place with Beerschot. Let’s be right, if he really is a £10M player then he’ll be playing every week and making the national teams (under 21s helps too).Bob would we be able to loan him to another Championship / League 1 club next year, and then have him back for 22/23 season? If he stays at Beerschot 1 more season I’m sure he willl play all games except if injured off course and the manager of Mali was quoted that he was monitoring him and was close to the national squad. The problem was that he had a foot injury in December which he played through for a while and his level dropped as the injury got worse. He was then taken out of the team and did not play anymore in the last 2 months of the league to heel the injury. In our home game against Anderlecht he totally bossed Anderlecht’s midfield ace Sambi Lokonga who is valued at 25 mio and who can join a serie A team this summer. So the reasoning was if Lokonga is worth 25 mio at around the same age and Coulibaly outclassed him then surely with a bit patience you can get either a top PL player at some point or you can make at least 25 mio. You’d struggle to get the points given the level he’d be playing in league one, championship is the same level but we have an agreement in place with Beerschot. Then the best move would be to bring him over this summer. We currently don’t have a box to box midfielder at all, and we need at least one for most formations. We’d be looking to bring in a loan who’d probably cost a similar amount and if he’s already interesting clubs that will only increase with a year in the Championship as PL teams will also take more notice. If he stays at Beerschot 1 more season I’m sure he willl play all games except if injured off course and the manager of Mali was quoted that he was monitoring him and was close to the national squad. Can we get him in for next season or is it brexit says no
Get him in and keep Berge.Get him in for Burge.
I know officially Berge hasn’t left the club but realistically he’s already gone. He’s been hinting things for months, even brown nosing ArsenalGet him in and keep Berge.
I wasn’t being serious, but yeah in a perfect world you’d have those two together.I know officially Berge hasn’t left the club but realistically he’s already gone. He’s been hinting things for months, even brown nosing Arsenal
The club I guess need the money so it’s a done deal as far as I can see
This Coulibaly lad though sounds intriguing. Seeing as he’s our player anyway, would love to see him in a r & w shirt at the Lane
Why?Loan him to Galatasaray £6m - 10m 2 year loan. Insert option to buy for £35M - 40M if after that they want him sell him or he comes back here
Care to elaborate ?Galatasaray aren't spending 13 million on the lad. In fact no Turkish club are spending anywhere near that amount on an unknown.
They don’t have the money for starters.Care to elaborate ?
Why is it being reported they have bid then ?They don’t have the money for starters.
That literally makes no sense whatsoeverLoan him to Galatasaray £6m - 10m 2 year loan. Insert option to buy for £35M - 40M if after that they want him sell him or he comes back here
