We were linked with Swift before, until he got injured so it’s possible that we’ve already discussed it with Slav. We’ve been talking to him for more than a couple of days and he’ll have done his prep, he knows which areas we have to strengthen. I’m not convinced about Sessegnon, I’m sure several PL clubs would be interested in him.

I'm a big fan of Sessegnon but surely LB/LWB is the last position we need to be looking at for signings?

We already have Stevens, Lowe, RND and Robinson as well as Osborn for that spot if Slav goes with a back 4.

For me the first big decision Jokanovic faces is deciding whether to retain the likes of Fleck, Norwood and Stevens, as they've been consistently shite for a season and a half. Personally I say retain as squad players but bring in replacements and don't let them start. Make them work their arses off for the shirt.

Fresh blood to start again. To be honest though, if Norwood left I couldn't care less.

Wilder had made his mind up he wanted out, the DoF was an excuse, as for Fleck, think your being massively unfair, the guy played while injured, then had a serious back injury

trying to guess the first signing, might as well try for the lottery numbers, Slav will have his own contacts, add in the clubs scouting network, Van Winckel and the Prince, might well be a few foreign accents in the club very soon, and some that are really, really difficult to understand and only have English as their 3rd language,,yes more Scousers!
