I think you're confusing him with Rob Hulse.

Always admired him - just loved playing football. I will never forget when he scored equaliser v Wigan in that awful game (hated Unsworth ever since!) He really put body on line that day to score and got clattered- bashed head - sure it knocked him out !

I was at the kop end of the Family stand and it was a great goal by Stead and the day we believed the prospect of relegation was just a bad dream. Instead the fickle finger of fate was already pointing at us. Another season where a really random situation, the Tevez affair, cost us big time. Is it any wonder our psyche is damged by all these things.

He scored in that memorable 4-2 victory away at Chelsea in the FA Cup for Bradford a few years back.

Without looking into it he must have scored against the Pigs at some point with the amount of different clubs he's represented, albeit probably not when he played for us!

The classic Stead goal. I was always pleased to see him pop up on the EFL highlights with a goal. A fair number were like that.

He had a really good career.
