Pretty reasonable PPM totals throughout his career.. Very Wilderesk in that view. Would still prefer SJ though.![]()

The rumour was posted AFTER Salzburg had confirmed their new boss.. BrilliantI’m not sure how Matthias Jaissle will feel about that having only got the Salzburg job 3 hours ago.
As ITK bollocks goes....top of the classThe rumour was posted AFTER Salzburg had confirmed their new boss.. Brilliant
Has Salzburg moved? I'm just wondering why a German would need a work permit to work in Austria? Admiedly the language barrier may be tricky...Blessin will now be the new Salzburg manager as Jesse March has joined RB Leibzig
Terms were all agreed dependant on blessin getting a work permit
Jokanovic now no1 priority along with Thomas letsch at Vitesse in the Eredvise

Blessin had agreed terms with us?
It's Austrians moving to Germany they're trying to dissuade. You know, after last time...Has Salzburg moved? I'm just wondering why a German would need a work permit to work in Austria? Admiedly the language barrier may be tricky...
I actually said to others as a joke say watch wilder come back avoid relegation on cv. Imagine if it actually happenedI have it on good authority that Chris Wilder will return as manager before next season and we will pretend like the last 12 months or so didn't happen.
odds Hecky near enough 1/1
No sign of Blessin or Jokanovic on the odds market... good or bad sign?
they arent available in the odds anymoreMeans somebody put a fiver on Hecky and nobody has put owt ont forrins.

Sorry mate, as far as I can see the current guidance doesn’t even have a currently available appeal process. I assume they’ll define something for the summer. If Blessin really is our number 1 pick then we may as well go down the appeals process rather than go for the second option.
Unless the time scale for an appeal may severely hinder our preparation for next season.
Anyone know timescales for the appeals process?
There's absolutely no way we'd win an appeal. There would be no point in having rules if they were that easy to circumvent. I suspect, if we really wanted him and he wanted to come, then we could return to him at a later date. I guess that would be dependent on how well he and we do in the meantime. I can't see him going to Beerschot. Would seem like a backwards move.Sorry mate, as far as I can see the current guidance doesn’t even have a currently available appeal process. I still don’t think 2 years experience is a particularly high bar if you want job protections for UK citizens.
The simple but expensive fix is, over pay him to sit at Beerschot for a couple of season if we think he truly is something special. History says SJ doesn’t hang round much longer than that.
I think Flatulent_Bob was talking about Blessin staying at Beerschot until the end of next season, at which point he should qualify under the FA rules. My understanding (thanks to Ball_Sup (Phil)) is that Jokanovic is eligible for a work permit until November as a result of his time at Watford. There's absolutely no way we'd win an appeal. I was thinking slightly longer than the end of this season as I doubt we'd appoint someone for a year, but we certainly could give SJ one year to get us up, but what if he does? But if SJ s did get us back into the Premier League, wouldn't that demonstrate he was an exceptionally good coach, so demonstrating he was worthy of an exemption?I was thinking slightly longer than the end of this season as I doubt we'd appoint someone for a year, but we certainly could give SJ one year to get us up, but what if he does? Exactly my point. So you aren't going to only have Blessin at Berschoot for a year but he's also going to be ambitious and getting offers. But if SJ s did get us back into the Premier League, wouldn't that demonstrate he was an exceptionally good coach, so demonstrating he was worthy of an exemption?
I think plenty would welcome Red Bull taking us over if it meant investment but I can't say I'd be a fan.GO Red Bull Blades
