Despite all social distancing supposedly being removed come late June if everything on track, I've always been sceptical about crowds going back to normal from August.

Apologies if this has already cropped up on a Thread. I couldn't find it. United are beginning the prep for allocating tickets for games again. Of course, the Carrier Bag Firm only have a passing interest as we use our own Ticket Gangmaster system to sort ourselves for games. But others may like to know what's shaping up.

How do you know how many points you’d need?

Not everyone sits with someone on the same points. I’ve way more than the two lads I sit with.

I would like to see the club give 1st choice to the people who didn’t ask for their money back on their season tickets. That would let families go together if they didn’t ask for a refund, just seems logical

Depends what you mean by academy games. Age groups up to the 16s have had people watching for a couple of weeks but limited to 1 family member per player due to distancing. Unsure of the rules for U18s or U23s.

They will use a Ballot if they want to give an equal chance to every Season Ticket Holder. That is what it brings to the party.

It depends what question you're asking. But, a simple response would be - no crowds are allowed at any games until Step 3 starts on 17 May at the earliest. (With allowances for parents & child protection as mentioned).
The regular U18 & U23 Professional Development League seasons will be finished by then. There is a possibility that any Play Off Semis and Finals, and FA Youth Cup Semis and Final will need to be after 17 May.
As most Academy games are likely to be played on training facilities & main grounds shared with First Team players & staff, existing Covid secure protocols will be enforced.

There are many people who have had no support from the spinelees pairing of Johnson and Sunak during this past 12 months.

If you are one of those that have not suffered either in health or wealth during Covid well good luck to you.

Don't however think that those who need every penny are those that have just jumped on the Premier league bandwagon.

For a few glorious moments of brain fade I tried but just couldn't put a face to these two young lads we'd presumably tried up front.

My under 9's team were invited to a tournament last week against various Blades U9's academy and talent development squads. It was a bit of an extreme way to see a Blades game in the flesh but I took them along and we weren't disgraced at all. Some good players at U9 level, I did joke with Jack Lester that maybe he should send one or 2 up to the first team to replace Lundstram and Norwood.

lundstram wouldnt get in an under 9 team but hes been in our premier league team all season if chris wilder is on here would love to know why he played him every game when 95% of united fans could see he didnt give a shit

If they are going to limit the number of fans going after everyone is vaccinated or near enough everyone, then what is the point of them doing the crowd trials at the snooker and other events, if it works and the final is a full house, then hey ho, footy grounds can go to say at least 75% capacity if not full.

That would be possible if the season was taking place in May, June, July, August. I think they are expecting tighter restrictions during the winter months when the respiratory disease season starts to effect the hospitals again.
