For next season from this seasons squad (does not include players we have loaned out to other clubs) I had no room for Fodringham but I guess he would stay

Ndiaye, you can't really comment on a youngster not seen! All youth should be here next season because we haven't seen any really.

Its mainly the players in the squad this season that we can judge ....saw enough touches from Ndiaye when he came on to see he offers something more than those already on the park...I hope he is played more for the remainder of the season
 
If you didn't vote for Rodwell you get a second chance at the bottom. Is that you Jack? ;)

I voted to keep Bash, JOC and Egan. Not bothered about the others.
 
I actually voted for most of them, because most of them will be excellent championship players, hopefully playing in front of crowds again.

Lundstram, Rodwell, Robinson and Jags (sorry Jags, love you but...) can all go.

Mousse I would prefer to keep and see how he does against inferior defenders, but if his head is still in his arse then he can do one too.

Berge, again would love to keep but if the price is right then we probably need to ship him out.

I could see the argument for binning Norwood and Stevens too, but I think we can get one more decent season out of them.

If the rest of them left today id lose no sleep whatsoever and frankly I dont want to see any of the others in a united shirt again.

Pretty much my thoughts. Get 6 or 7 off the wage bill (we can lose a couple of keepers like Moore and Eastwood too) and if we can keep the others we still have the core of a decent Championship squad. Bring in four or five to freshen things up I. E a new midfield and we would be very dangerous for that level of football.
 
Ok who are the pigs that voted for Lundstram and Rodwell?
 



Egan is arguably our best CB but I also think he would be the easiest to replace, especially if we keep 3 at the back.
 
Biggest (possibly only) plus for me this season has, eventually, been Ramsdale. A few months ago replacing him would be next year’s priority.

Now he’s looking like a real asset - should we have to sell then it won’t be anything like the financial hit it was going to be.
 
Big squad churn needed - the reality is, aside from a handful of players we have lower end Championship / League 1 players making up the majority of the squad; many on a downward trajectory.

The bigger question is probably how many of the cloggers can we offload, the obvious few out of contract should all go (Bryan, Rodwell, Jags, Lundstram, Moore)

But the likes of Stevens, Robinson, Mousset, Norwood? All likely on high-ish wages and hardly setting the world alight. Fear we'll be stuck with some of these next year.
 
This kind of yes/no poll is not overly useful as it's clearly dependent on what we get back for the player. I've clicked no on Baldock, but that's on the assumption that we get what he's worth if we moved on

Lowe deserves a chance to improve.
 
To say we moaning at recruitment the fans seem to want to keep everyone and that Mcburnie splits opinion.
 



I listened to the Darryl McAntony podcast recently (Peterborough Chairman). I'm sure he said that over 1,000 players contracts were up this summer. His advice to any player with a contract was to honour it. He said the majority of clubs are looking to run with slimmer squads due to the devastating effects Covid has had on club finances. Seems obvious really, but interesting to hear it said by a Chairman whose club is heading for the Championship.

In the light of this, I'm not sure that moving many of the contracted players on will be easy at all. Especially with the wages they're on. I fear that some of the contracted dross we will be stuck with for a while yet.
