I've just read on the OS that Monty is on 294 appearances for the season. To hit 300 would be a major achievement. He is truly a lion heart and I admire him for it.
The OS says that he has a knee injury and is defying doctors orders to stand down owing to a knee injury.
Lets be clear. I like Monty and I :heart: hoof.
But, we've seen this before. Players taking pain killing injections, playing through the pain barrier... Monty himself played through injections v Wigan 5 years ago.
Monty or anyone. If you ain't 100% you're no use to us! Fitness test or not, you won't be able to give your all. So stay at home, go to meadowhall, sit in the stands, do whatever - just don't put yourself on the line because injured players are shitter than fit shit players!
