I didn't hear any "slagging" of Wilder in the interview. He's just answering the questions. He's hardly going to say, "oh yes everything was wonderful and that's why Chris left" is he?

That’s not how I read it. It’s just comments he made in an interview that, if I recall correctly, was basically asking if he thought he’d still be in a job next season. Which was a fair question really, considering the circumstances. I did think at the time he’d have been better off just giving the “stock answer” that most managers say when asked that question, along the lines of ‘well it may not be my decision but I’d like to continue’.
Has Prince got now't made two interviews then and no i do not expect him to say everything is wonderful but you think Wilder should at post match interviews then?

I think you’re misunderstanding my point a little. Whilst I don’t think he got anyone to ask him about his contract I don’t think his comments were the answer he should’ve given. I think it was after that interview that I posted on here that it sounded like he was going. His interviews have been hinting at dissatisfaction with how the club was being run and I don’t think it’s right to be doing that publicly, it only ever ends one way.

It would have been quite unprofessional of the club not to make him sign one, as far as I’m aware, it’s pretty standard practice when you pay a manager off.

It’s convenient for the club too. Which manager has come out after leaving a club on mutual consent grounds and gone into great detail about what went off? Sometimes they may write a book years later where they have a moan but not usually immediately afterwards. Similarly how often does a chairman go on the radio and go into detail about why the sacked a manager? I don’t remember Abramovic or anyone from Chelsea coming out after Lampard was sacked and Chelsea got some grief from their fans about sacking him. They didn’t cry on TalkSport, they just appointed a replacement who is obviously a better manager, which soon shut the fans up.

Ignore it. Rise above it. Issue a bland statement about how he appreciates what Wilder has done for us but all parties felt it was for the best and that he’s committed to making sure we’re back in the PL and continuing to progress.
