Imagine if McBurnie had actually ventured into the penalty box.Imagine if Mcburnie had missed that......

That would be daft, wouldn’t it.Imagine if McBurnie had actually ventured into the penalty box.
Put in a good 20 yarder towards the end.Was he actually on the field of play today![]()
At 30k per week I would think he is being paid enough to demonstrate that he can put the ball in the net from 4 yds out.!Sounds like he didn't train much this week so to put in a 90 minute shift and still pushing forward at the end was a real credit to him. I love watching his silky skills but I just wish he could kick the ball a bit harder! (And every forward in the country has missed chances like that one so let's not be too harsh on him).
Wholly agree, and Brewster bagging 30 goals, the lad has got it and he will come good.

Spot on Fred ! He is a great footballer If he had the finishing to his game he would have been an England player as he is English,no hanging about waiting for Ireland to snap him up.As said by many before, he if could finish regularly he wouldn't be playing for Sheffield United!
His effort levels, ability on the ball and vision are fabulous and he's still our very best player. That miss today, though, was a killer.
Hope he's fit for next season. He could be the player of the year for us in the Championship.

on top of the failed lob over the keeper the missed header maybe 34 is a good time for a newer model
he was a vintage capri ghia in mint condition when he came
but the rust is starting to pull through, and one of the headlight bulbs has gone

Yesterdays miss was typical of him ,Will be a frustrated player as that would have given him and us a semi, dont think he has one on his CV.
Will be an important player for us next season as he still looks really fit just like Billy who will hopefully be important next season.
Hope the new manager thinks the same they still have a lot to give us,in my opinion !!!
He really does need to pull his socks up.Imagine if McBurnie had actually ventured into the penalty box.

This bit of skill today was sublime!
It was brilliant to see the support Blades gave him when he was searching for his first Premier league goal for us.Works very hard, owns his mistakes. The guy just gets it, I love him (how many flair players do you see putting the tackles in he does).
Hopefully the fact he’s spent so much of his career injured means he’s got a few more miles left on the clock for us.
