Good win, worked hard, got the upper hand then kept up the pressure till their superiority made it plain the result was in no danger, whilst taking the goal opportunities. First goal missed, but second well worked.
Well done lads.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Confidence came after an hour when 0-2 up and we began to play some decent football after a scrappy first hour. If Brooks effort had gone in near the end it would have been the best move of the match.

Good to see a different formation 4-3-1-2 and us having taller players than the opposition. Charlton had some decent players, are second in their division and won 8-0 last time out. On to Doncaster and the next round of the cup.

The commentary had that wrong. Peterborough & Doncaster play Friday Afts. We'll play the winner of that in the next round.

Me too pal. Really enjoyed that. Very committed and athletic. Well done lads!

A good win

There's been a great deal of comment following Chris Wilder's departure about the first team system being followed down through into the youth set up. Pundits refer to it as our DNA

I didn't really see much evidence of that last night.

Jebbison seems to be scoring a lot recently for the under 18s. Is he one we’ve picked up from elsewhere, or has he been at the academy for years?

Obviously, I haven't been to a live game for over a year. But, this "playing the same system as the first team" thing has become a #FACT hasn't it. Sure the U23s would routinely set up with three at the back. But, the U18s rarely. The U18s set up as best suits the development of the players. And, a point I've made elsewhere, Academy football is far less rigid than elite football. Teams will change shape and system more times in the first half than Wilder has in his career. That's not a criticism, that's just the nature of Academy football.

Jebbison is going to be a top player ,and a big lad when he matures ,got that bit of aggression in his game which I like .

It has been a while but it seems like we have a number of strikers who are impressing at their various age groups. Could anyone list who we have and what age group they are in, or is it just Ndiaye, Hackford and Jebbison?
