Always said it, very good player!! MoM again last night and was a marked man with some of the tackles going in on him. Still some won't give the lad credit. Keep it up Stephen!!

as stated elsewhere, playing him in position help a lot, lets hope it rubs off on some other players.

Quinny has been great these last few games, but MOM for Forest game was Lowton.

Yes he has but they follow a long series of poor displays. It is disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

I think Quinn suffered from Blackies instruction and took a while to get back to sorts. I always thought his ball retention was decent when on loan at the Millers and when he broke into the team. He became elpiton from following instruction IMO which is why he retained a place when frustrating so many. He was doing as he was told!

I'm glad he's on form as he can make things happen and provide some positive energy. Just need a couple of goals to help us out too.

our set piece delivery and free kicks over the last 2 years have been woeful, lets hope his new found form will give him some confidence in that department aswell, we need to exploit the free kicks and corners more than ever with the position were in.

I think lots of people have given him credit the last few games and plenty of those have been people who have slagged him in the past.

He was one of the better players on Tuesday (Lowton way better for me) but this co-incided with him switching out left when we went 442. He was poor first half as ALL the alledged midfield were.

his free kicks used to be on a par with beatties at one time. great little prospect ruined by blackwell (no two ways about that one), lets hope he's back to his original promise.

One thing Micky seems to be doing is asking them or identifying what players are best at and letting them go out and do it.

He did this with Creswell a few weeks ago commenting that 'he told me he was a striker so i gave him the chance to prove it' - alright, it failed that time but it seems to be bringing the best out of Quinn and its probably the reason Evans form has picked up aswell.

Last free kick near the box I remember him taking he scored from it straight in the top left hand corner. Not taken one since. Why?

Like I said; Some find very difficult to give him any credit. I for one am pleased he is being given the encouragment by the majority of the fans at BDTBL. Makes a change from the know nowt 's that have heckled the lad in the past.

Absolutely right. I'm delighted to acknowledge his recent improvement but improvement it is, not a vindication or a demonstration that his critics were wrong all along. I sincerely hope that Quinny's useless twin brother Elpiton has now left the club on a free transfer but he has played far too many matches for any 'Player of the Season' [a comedie noir if ever there was one!] suggestion to hold water.

Probably the most technically proficient player at the Lane who has suffered more than most as a result of our tactics.
