I mean yeah, some people were always going to be upset when it happened and it's a safe bet that the majority of those saying they'll not be going again will probably still end up back at the lane come next season, albeit with that grim sense of pessimism we are sadly familiar with historically speaking rather than the heady optimism that we'd gotten used to the last few seasons. I dare say most of them know it themselves too. I know I fucking do.

Yes, the reaction of some is ironic considering Wilder frequently said no one is bigger than the club. Yes, some people are being a tad irrational and melodramatic but that's up to them and I don't blame them at the moment. Most will realise it themselves given just a short amount of time.
