Seeing a lot of this bollocks today. And I know it’s mostly knee jerk, and not serious, but I don’t know you can even say that and keep a straight face?
The club has been standing for 130 years. Many managers, players, even boards have been here. But we are the one thing that remains - the fans.
This is Sheffield United, not Wilder United - last time I checked.

It’s a football club most of us were born into. It’s ingrained within our bones. An addiction. You don’t just choose not to go.

How can you sit there and seriously say ‘I’m not going anymore’?
Its not Oyston at Blackpool, the mad Chinese lot at Wigan, or Chansiri at Wednesday. Our owners and manager haven’t seen eye to eye and things have been bubbling all year. There’s been obvious signs of disagreement and we don’t even know if he’s been sacked or walked at this point.

It’s a decision you don’t like, but this is your club. If it takes a manager leaving for you to cut ties and not go anymore maybe you weren’t that bothered in the first place.

Why don’t you just wait for Chris Wilder to take his next job and get a season ticket there for fucks sake

Did you stamp your foot in anger when you posted this??

Think most are just quite upset about it. Others seem to be weirdly revelling in it
Revelling in it because I think it’s fucking pathetic for people to say they’re not going anymore because a manager has left?

I was granted the title Kneejerker by the Great Pinchy. And today I have been surpassed. Really is odd when the crowd that shouted "support through thick and thin" can turn around this quickly. ⚔️
Wilder has played a blinder in the media tbf. To do this badly and deflect this much is hugely impressive.

Well said sir.

Stuff like the above. Obviously not upset in the slightest. Blatantly quite enjoying that the 'arrogant, smug, prick' has gone. Maybe it's you who isn't really that bothered.

Aye, and you're making damn sure everybody knows how fine you are with it as well.
Counteracts every other fucker on here then making damn sure they know how much they hate the board all of a sudden

I wonder if the new DoF /head coach combo works and we win the league next season people will moan/won’t go because Wilder ain’t there

I’m not particularly bothered we’ve lost 2020+ Chris Wilder. Sorry to say. He’s not been the same bloke since the turn of last year.
Up until that point there’s not one bloke I’d rather have at the helm. And even now I didn’t particularly want it to come to this. But I’m not gonna make out I’m not going anymore because of it.

Good for you

I agree with the OP, one of your better posts today. We don’t know who’s in charge yet so it’s a bit silly to say you’ll not go because Wilder has left. If you watched us under Clough and Adkins the next manager can’t be much worse.

What’s that got to do with people saying they won’t go anymore?

I was responding to the idiotic 'are they Blades fans or Wilder fans?' post.

Despite being mightily pissed off if Wilder goes, it wouldn't ever stop me supporting the club. It's not my place to tell others how they should react though.

I think some supporters fall out of love with the club and use events like this as a reason not to go any more, worked with one home and away blade who’d drink in the pubs around the lane almost every night even though he lived in Rotherham. He stopped going when seating was introduced on the kop. Another life long home and away supporter said he wouldn’t set foot in the lane until Brealey left, to the best of my knowledge he’s not been to a game since.

If it’s not Neil Lennon, Tony Pulis or Joseph Kony there’s absolutely no reason not to go next season
