Heckingbottom will be the new boss until the end of the season. I think we all know that. After that he HAS to step back down unless he hugely proves everyone wrong.
The remainder of that list would be a unmitigated disaster and i can't believe United are even thinking along those lines.
Howe is the best by far but he failed at Burnley and he's the archetypal 'southern boy'. Can't see Lampard taking a job like us.
I can only see an overseas option or maybe the bloke doing well at Barnsley that seems to be highly rated? I don't know enough about him.
