Interestingly, when Warnock took over we got 16 points from his first 7 games in charge. Almost as many as Heath got in 17 games, and 12 more points than Adams has got in all his games in charge so far.

Yes, it's difficult to defend Adams any more. By the law of average, any team would have won by now. Any team would score more than the occasional goal by now. I really don't know how Adams has the cheek to pick up his wages.

If/when Adams goes (and I don't buy the arguament that 'we would look like a laughing stock if we got rid of another manager' - we already are) and we decide to continue the madness of employing a 'manager' (can't see the point, myself. Most are crap), then Chris Houghton is still out there.

Obviously, this perpetual dilution of the squad in terms of talent is turning into a rapid downhill path that we show no signs of stopping. The only players with a modicum of ability - I'm thinking (tin hat on), Evans, Monty and Quinn - will leave in the summer, no doubt to be replaced by MA's pals from Port Vale.

I really fear yet another relegation scrap in 12 months.

That's why we should bin Adams now, stick an interim manager (either smith orPembo )in charge til the end of the season, and start developing the kids. Adams is finished as a championship manager. I daresay you'd sell a few more a season
tickets too if we saw a future without the likes of Nyron Nosworthy in the team.

We could always instruct Adams to send back / drop the loanees and play the youth.

It's about time he did this and stopped pretending we have a chance of staying up. I'm as sick of the pretence as I am with the defeats. Get the youngsters in and give them some game time in prep for next season. Send the mercenaries back.

For me, this shows the folly of the man. 2 losses in a row, and he fields the same lineup.

I don't think anyone's calling for him replace the entire first team squad with kids, but surely we must have better options in the youth team than playing Nosworthy at right back who offers very little going forward. Similarly are there better options than Cresswell?

Bent looks as poor as Cresswell. It would have to be Boggy. Mattock wouldn't get a game with The Red Lion based on what he showed when fit.

Sorry Foxy, but I still haven't seen a single thing from Nosworthy that makes me think he deserves a shirt.

If he's getting forward, then fine, but i'd rather see Parrino, an Academy player or Kozzy in front of him. Nosworthy is far too clumsy

I didn't say he necessarily deserved a shirt, I do however understand why he's currently keeping it.

Myself, I'd have never have dropped Parrino, but that doesn't change my view that Nos has been better over the last few games and despite sitting very deep at Palace, has since got up the field pretty well.
