The centre backs pass and then run up the wing....only for the bloke now on the ball to pass it back to defence, meaning the centre back who has just run the wing has to rung back again. It's irritating.

Why not just dink it up the wing where the bloke is running?

none of our u23’s are good enough at this level. The only one I could feasibly see is Stevens for Lowe. Even twathead Lundstram can’t be replaced.
