Spot on, need to have more control otherwise we know what will happen, cant expect to defend for 45 and keep the score at 1-0. It’s a tactic that has not worked all season
I think we have played so much better this season and come away with Fuck all. Only my opinion but we are playing shite tonight.

The ref has just looked at a still on the video and based on that it possibly does look red...you can see why he might have made his decision
however the rule is based on “goal scoring opportunity”

The Villa player had slowed down to fast jogging pace
when as Bryan was already up to speed sprinting across....so he would have made his tackle before the Villa could get close to our goal.

Conclusion:
Where speed and distance is involved you can’t make a decision based on a still picture....that shows the distance
but a vital factor is to know at what speed the players were travelling.
