........ any of our players before next season?

JOC - hopefully he'll be here following a full recovery.
Berge - the same as JOC or will Villa be willing to pay more than we did for his services?
Egan - how much to Everton? £12 - £15 million - more?
Rammers - will West Sham pay more than we paid Bournemouth, however much that was?
Anyone else? Stevens, Baldock, Bogle, McBurnie (if Swansea go up), etc?

What with all that luverly money coming in, we could do a really, really good and thorough rebuilding job (assuming that was in the slightest bit necessary) and perhaps no one would need to put their hand in their own pocket even if there was a lot more than just a bit of fluff in there.

How will that affect CW as he does not want the team dismantled. Would he walk?

Maybe none of them will want to go, Wilder included.

McBurnie's agent has told me he'll happily leave for a crate of Fosters, an ounce of spice, a free 'I luv Swanzee' tattoo and a shagbite.

JOC, Egan, Bash, really could do with hanging on to those three at the expense of every bugger else

Sander, money back and he goes

McB's stock has diminished this season

No-one else really worth anything ? Fleck to Rangers for a jubbly and a bazooka joe?

Sander will have a release clause of broadly what we paid.

The other investments we have made in the PL are all worth significantly less than what we paid, so any sales will crystallise a loss.

Just as well our most saleable assets (Fleck / JOC / Egan maybe Dids) cost < £5m between them.

Interesting the alleged interest in Rammers by the Spammers.

He might be the somewhat surprising one that “makes way” to free up budget and wages.

JOC (if he recovers) £20m

Berge £20m

Egan £10m

Ramasdale £8-10m

Mcburnie .. Swansea might pay £8m. Anyone else would be about £5m

Whoever buys JOC better buy Egan and vice versa. They are the siamese twins of SUFC and can't function to their best without each other

edit: apologies to the pc police of course I meant "conjoined" twins

Only players I'd be disappointed to see leave are JOC, Basham, Bogle and McGoldrick. Sharp is on his way out age-wise and to be honest, I'm pretty indifferent to the rest because they've all been somewhere between average and diabolical. I just hope that JOC is back to his best when he comes back and isn't a poor imitation of himself like the others have been.

If West Ham were to give us good money for Ramsdale, I'd let him go. Likewise for Berge who hasn't torn up any trees and cost a few quid. Mousset and McBurnie are probably the fastest depreciating players we've got, we'll hardly have clubs queueing round the block for expensive (by our standards) strikers who can't hit a barn door.

I’m not saying we have no good players, but for the last few seasons I feel all have suited the style of play and our tactics.

Basham - couldn’t play CM or CB in a two. Back three formation is perfect for him

Norwood - could he play in a two again like he did in 18/19 promotion season, I doubt it he’s lost more pace

Lundstrum - suits a middle three as he’s not positionally great. Gets the cover he needs from the other two

JOC what other team could he go and overlap as a centre half?

Im sure there’s more examples of how our style suits players, but these for me stand out above the rest.

Can see Berge leaving and then a few who are now done for use, Stevens, Norwood etc, but with JOC, Bash, Egan, Ramsdale, Bogle Brewster and McBurnie we have a title-contending foundation to work from

i would pay for all that if we can get rid of him what a waste of 20m and 20k a week

So you want to flog the whole team off for loads a money and then start again? Crazy talk.
This is not my idea.
Maybe CW got his two pennyworth in early by saying he wants the owners to keep the team together.
Maybe they will take notice, unlike the way they did when he decided he had so few players to warm the subs bench.
However, some will be sold, even if we are no longer "a selling club" - it is just a matter of who they are.
Start again - from where? The bottom of the Premier League?
I suppose, as we have bought top Championship players, we really have absolutely nothing to be concerned about.
Although we are not doing what Norwich did last season but we all hope we can emulate them next season.

This Berge money back bollocks 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I despair at how many people on here would be happy to flog him at the first opportunity. Baffles me.
To be clear I never claimed I would be happy to sell Berge, I was trying to point out that IF we got an offer than got the investment back the club would probably take it AND if it was from the PL his agent would probably try and force it. I believe Berge could be the fulcrum of midfield in a very successful side in the right system, but he doesn't want Championship football and the club needs money. WTF do you think will happen if a bid comes in?

I despair at how many people think Berge would be happy to be playing in the Championship, just because it says the mighty Sheffield United on his pay packet.

Berge thinks he's better than he is ...take the 20 million let him go
Stevens can go
Along with moose ,jags ,Billy(coaching role at the lane) Lundstrum,I'd like to see Rammers stay but if the money is right let him go ...
1 or 2 quality additions in midfield and we are back up in no time

Based on what?

In fairness to Berge, albeit it's only a perception, but he doesn't appear the Billy Big Balls type. But clearly if a Premier League club comes in for him, then it's perhaps unlikely he'd stay.

On the fact we would have a stronger line up than the last time we went up ...

No i apologise for that ,he's not as good as most on here seem to rave about , He never seemed to get going never grabbed a game by the scruff of the neck ...just my opinion

I personally think he's a class act who will go onto better things. But my point was that I can't see Berge throwing his toys out of the pram to go, doesn't mean he still won't leave though.
