What do we think about season ticket prices in our new division? When do you reckon the season will start?

I know Breeny at start of season I wondered where we'd finish, I just said to myself just not a repeat of 75/76 Christ I didn't expect this though mate.

Social distancing will still be in place it seems until at least July according to latest leaks. It doesn't seem likely full crowds in day one of the season.

This season has turned out so like 75/76. I went into that season with so much optimism - I recall one football magazine (Shoot??) tipping us to win the title. It turned out to be the end of an era with the break up of the early 70's team.

I never expected this season to go the same way with the break up of the team that took us to the Prem. The early 70's team were far more exciting to watch and should have won a trophy but just lacked depth and some consistency.

Next season will be a socially distanced season, some home fans (5k) in but no chance of full houses or away fans.

I assume they will prioritise those who had season tickets last season as part of some sort of lottery for who gets a ticket. (Anyone know how those clubs that were in tier one and two last November decided who got tickets?).

Hopefully we all get to see at least A couple of games in the flesh next season.

I agree 100% we will never see players of their like again I mean real skill and through all the team, it wasn't just hard work we had some damn fine players.

I think as time passes that team gets better and better !
In reality they had some players not much different in skill from today’s team, but they did have one or two who were miles better than any current ones

This. I also assume we'll have tough local lockdowns when outbreaks happen so crowds will be in and out.

Dunno mate, when we were in our pomp, before Christmas 2019. I couldn’t think of an era (including early 70s) were we’d played better football.

Well before my time but the chaps who sit around me who saw that team all said last seasons were better to watch 😬

Did you see Currie, Woodward, Salmons, Eddy to name a few even Bowles, Worthington & Colin Bell so far in front of what we have today. Todays footballer maybe fitter but none of them could feight Colquhoun was a reight scrapper, football today is played by pansies.

If that's the case no point in going, all or none!!

Potential away days at Lincoln & Accrington are what’s getting me through it at the minute, cheers for that HG 🥲

I will go with Currie and Woodward, but Eddy and Salmons ?
I don’t think Egan and O’Connell can be looked on as pansies, but the laws of football restrict the sort of behaviour you refer to, but perhaps not for the better.

You're right that they lacked depth and that's down to tight-fisted directors failing to invest in that great early 70's team. We had the foundations to build a team for the future but were let down

Tony Tony Currie has been quoted as saying that One reason he signed another contract at SUFC was that the directors promised that money would be invested, guess what?

Let us hope that the current management team are not let down in a similar way.

I didn't say our players are pansies but come on look at Salah, Mane, Sterling to name 3 and oh yes Eddy was an excellent player and Salmons on wing. The laws of football now allow free kicks for just falling and refs fall for it every time.

pretty sure it was the 74-75 season when we missed out on europe by 1 point we played some fantastic football second half of that season all we needed was a top class striker and we spent a measly 100k on chris f*****g guthrie and from then on just lumped it up to his head sound familiar ? 🤔

Anyone got any info on the 2025/26 kit??
Bongle here from the year 2025, i can confirm that this years kit is a hologram, still got an all white back though 🤦‍♂️ we are sponsored by Tesla, we just bought Hackford back from Galatasaray for 1 bitcoin and qualifying for the European Super League looks on this year
