Seriously why would we slag off Billy , ffs , saves us time and time again !

If he would have played from the beginning of the season instead of been sat on his arse we would have been 4 to 5 points better off now .

You have to feel for a young lad who has joined the club with a huge price tag on his shoulders then has to learn our system (which takes time) while the team struggles instantly. He is totally shot confidence wise and is desperate for a goal or two to get him going. It may take a season in the championship but ultimately I think he’ll come good

He was crap tonight aye, but he'll have gone into this match feeling low and he'll have come out feeling worse. His movement was crap and he doesn't seem very interested in a physical battle but he still somewhat puts an effort in (I'm not claiming that's good enough). The last thing he needs is his own fans giving up on him though!

Does anyone know if it's common practice for clubs to employ a sports psychologist, or a 'mindset coach' or whatever the fuck you wanna call it?
 
There was a chance when McGoldrick got the ball on the left. He should have ran goal side and anticipated the ball coming in. It would’ve been a tap in.

He just waited for the ball to come to him with a defender in the way. Really poor. Basics really.
 
I don't see any point slagging him off but he is way short of being ready for this season.

I'd even go as far to say we might not start to see the best of him until the 2022/23 season.

Yes, I noticed that. Their defender was static and Brewster just needed to dart in front of him for a tap in. It should just come natural to a striker but doesn’t seem to. It’s really odd given the promise he showed in previous years.

i really hope your right for him and the clubs sake but he just looks totally lost to me and his movement off the ball is non existent he should have had 2 goals tonight but the reaction to a chance just isnt there

Brewster is probably the most disappointing part of the state we are in. He came in sold to us as the new Michael Owen. There's not one aspect of his game that points to him being a 23m pound player.
When we got Hanson from Bradford he offered ten times what we have seen from Brewster so far . His lack of movement and urgency are really worrying.

I don't think our pedestrian football does him or any striker many favours. Mcburnie was pretty prolific before joining. I'm sure both would do much better if we had a Duffy type player pulling the strings. Praying we look for a number 10 in the summer.

I’d expect Billy to embarrass him. He’s scored his goals nearly 250 of them over the last 10 years. Learning that trade as he goes. Brewster is learning that trade now and has hardly completed 90 mins. He hasn’t completed a full season of football yet.
 
Seen better record signings in HMV. Keep thinking if he gets a goal or two, confidence will grow and he’ll find some form. Looks like we’re in for a long wait

Shouldn't he be eager to impress like most young players? If he's not willing to chase defenders down or drag them out of position at 20 years old, then there is not much hope for him.

I remember in the mid 90's Tony Robbins (The 6 foot 7 life coach with the big teeth) came in to the club to do work on motivation.

Obviously not. Best write this one off and get some one new in for next season, instead of giving him a chance to come up to speed with how we play and what we expect.

We are crap. let’s be honest. We never really look like scoring and we have relied heavily on penalties this season. The quality just isn’t there to provide adequate service for our forwards
 



Fucking shite. Doesn't put himself about, doesn't put himself in goalscoring positions and when he does he manages to fuck it up, the header for example. Clearly doesn't want to be here but I doubt he's good enough to get a move anywhere else. I wouldn't mind if he ran his bollocks off and it wasn't coming off for him but he just looks like he can't be arsed and doesn't want to be here
