Absolutely gutted. Potentially great day out ruined by Sky.

Anyone want to buy 3 x return train tickets to London for April 2nd?

Absolutely gutted. We have 15 x £42 tickets!

bastards want to probably double up their promotion against our possible relegation.

It's going to be on the tellybox? Outstanding. For some of us, that's the only way we get to see them any more.

Nice one, thats a load of train and hotel money never to be seen again x 10 of us. Not to mention the loss of a decent day out.

Why don't you all just take the day out in London? You've paid for it anyway, you might as well have a get together in the West End or something?

Hmmm, I doubt a thread full of people bemoaning huge loss of train ticket money is the best place for you to be celebrating a chance to see us for free.

You only add to add "and you could always go and see Les Mis" to have made that one of the funniest posts of all time.

I'm sure that Sky would love the publicity that refunding train fares as an act of goodwill would bring them in light of them being the ones who have caused the problem.

I was planning on going with a few lads from work who just wanted to watch a game of football. We play football after work on Monday nights, so it's even scuppered my plans and I live within spitting distance of Loftus Road.

Absolutely ridiculous, the game has been scheduled since June 2010 and now less than 7 weeks before the actual date it’s moved. If games are going to be changed surely it needs to be done 3 months in advance so that advance train fares can be sorted. It just shows how little the powers that be care about the fans and why there will be more and more empty seats in the coming years. We should be okay next season as Sky don’t show as many League 1 games ;)

Calling Mr Batho........

Gutted on this one as well, was hoping for a good day out on this one.

Just looks like I'll have to arrange a meeting in London on the Monday or Tues

Ahhh you see for Sky to do that they would have to openly admit that they caused problems for fans and we all know that Sky made football what it is today so I wouldn't count on it.

I was planning on booking train tickets within the next week for this one. Glad I haven't already!

Kind of pleased with this as it means i can spend the weekend writing my dissertation, instead of spending it drinking and recovering.

Feel sorry for the guys that have spent the money on trains and hotel already though. YOu can get a refund on the train though surely, and there's plenty of notice to cancel hotels?

Don't think you can on super advance or whatever they're called tickets.

At least it's an excuse to go to the pub on a monday night. We'll no doubt be competitive for the 1st 10 minutes before going down 3 or 4 nil.

They might need a new cricket scoreboard, but at least he wont be there to highlight our defensive short comings...

This has really pissed me off. I don't wanna watch it on the sodding telly, I wanted a trip to London and another decent trip/booze to Loftus Road.

Absolutely spot on. Surely they could implement a 12 week rule for announcing games? Even better, when a game involves a long trip for one set of fans, keep it on the same day at least - a 12:45 or a 17:20 at QPR would've been inconvenient but not impossible.

Sky also changed the date of Stoke v WBA yesterday from Feb 26th to Feb 28th - just over 2 weeks notice. To add insult to injury, they've said that if Stoke draw in the FA Cup, they'll move it back to the Saturday but kick off at a different time!

Be good if they got 100 comments from Blades fans today

Yes you can but each ticket carries a £10 admin fee therefore if you have 2 super advance singles a £10 refund applies to both.

Sent mine....

Morning,

Could you explain to me why a decision on televised games is left so late? You must appreciate that, especially with ticket prices being so high, fans book their travel arrangements as far in advance as possible to save money. If all televised fixtures were announced 12 weeks before the date of the game, no-one could buy train tickets and you would appear to care about the football fan - your key customer.

Your decision to move QPR v Sheff U to a Monday night has left myself and countless others left with train tickets that now can't be used. The decision has probably knocked 2,000 off the away following and as a result, your 'product' (horrible word) will suffer. People will eventually lose interest in attending matches because they're fed up of being messed about by Sky and people will start cancelling their Sky subscriptions because a match in a half empty ground isn't as exciting to watch.

Please start giving some consideration to football fans, wouldn't it be great if you got some positive PR for once?

Regards

David Cooper
