Any ‘expert’ analysis though should focus on the woeful lack of Man U marking and the time and space given to Burke in their own box for the 2nd goal (it wasn’t the only time either) in contrast to the excellent way we defended our own box and gave them barely a moment’s time or space in it at any point. That was where they lost it and we won it.

I never understand why it's fine for a keeper to push an attacker "to make space" but as soon as a keeper gets the slightest touch its should be a foul. Definitely nothing wrong with the goal. Disallowed goal correct too

Billy was clever with ours in the way that he knew he was nudging De Gea but the slight push from Maguire encourages Sharp to look as though he's tripped over Jag's leg and fell into De Gea as a result of the "push" which is probably why VAR doesn't over rule it as a foul on the keeper

In another dimension, on another day at Old Trafford, those decisions would get reversed. Actually I agree, I thought Billy gave De Gea a bit of a shove, and Rammers got away with a flap.

Let's have a proper look at both incidents, on our goal despite billy leaning into De Gea (which actually moves him nearer to the ball) Bryan gets his head on it before it gets within punching distance. Good enough for VAR to take a look and find nothing wrong, if the had they would have also seen Maguire both arms wrapped around Jag as though he was trying to enter him from behind so a potential penalty shout in there too.
On their disallowed effort Maguire jumps shoulder first into Ramsdale's chest as he is about to catch the ball, you haven't been able to do that since the 1950's come on. VAR can't look at it because the ref immediately blew for a foul on the keeper before their player put it in the goal. Ole is deluded.

Their goal definitely should have stood. Ramsdale should have caught that with ease. VAR would've given it.

Ours, I'm not sure. I don't think Sharp affects de Geas jump to be honest. I'll say both should have stood.
