I think this month's fixtures are going to kill off any chances MA might have of staying at BDTBL. No win in 6 games and we have 6 fixtures in Feb. Out of those 6 fixtures we have:

Ipswich: only 2 losses in 6 league games, one to Millwall and one to Forest (scabs) by the way of an OG

Prediction: 0 points for the Blades.

Millwall: Also only 2 losses in 6, one to Norwich (95th minute game winner) and one to Leicester.

Prediction: 0 points for the Blades.

Reading: Again 2 losses in 6, one to top of the table QPR and the other to 3rd place Swansea. Were also unlucky to concede a 97th minute equaliser against Cardiff.

Prediction: 0 points for the Blades

Palace: 3 losses in 6 league games, but recent form is three draws. We should be beating sides like Palace but being a Yorkshireman I'm going to be pessimistic and say...

Prediction: 1 point for the Blades

Scunthorpe: Again 3 losses from 6, Scunny are SHIT, but I've seen us lose to them before and given our current status...

Prediction: 1 point for the Blades

Derby: Out of form Derby, 4 losses in 6 in the league, and also a 2-1 defeat to CRAWLEY in the cup. I've got hope that we might possibly beat Derby, but again I think realistically it's only gonna be a draw at best.

Predition: A very optimistic 1 point for the Blades

To sum up, 3 points in 6 games is relegation path. Obviously it's all guesswork like, but that's what I think

So basically, we be fucked, y'all. Not exactly news though. I'm hoping against hope that we aren't destined for Division Three, but I wouldn't bet any money on us staying up.

Nor, it seems, would Kevin McCabe.

The thing is though, McCabe is the only person who can change anything by taking a £££'s punt on a team who are supposedly close to his heart. Either go for broke or go forth and multiply in my opinion.

My lack of foresight has prevailed again... March doesn't look much better. I'm going to say 3 points in 10 games now. Good luck MA.

No. I'm just a realist. When you're sat this far down the table, the top of the league below is a far more achievable goal than the middle of the league you're in now. Where do you see all these points coming from and who's got the quality to score the goals/save the shots to earn them? Serious question.

Saying F-off to the bloke who owns the club and to whom the club owes vast amounts of cash and could call it in at any time?

Really not the way to go...

"What's that? You can't pay me back?? Never mind, I'll just take this lovely freehold in lieu. I'll get back to you with your new rent in a bit"

Slightly off thread, but I have never known for sure if sufc own the land, and if they do, what would it be worth if it was sold?
