Not even given a proper chance and if that is so why has he not been replaced poor management I.M.O been clear for a very long time that we have 2 areas we lack any quality upfront and a creative midfielder.

He wasn’t fit enough. He was blowing out of his arse after 5 minutes whenever he played.

I’m glad we have him a chance

I’m also much happier playing a left back in midfield instead of him

Seeing him leave frustrated the hell out of me because every time I saw him play against us, with 3 different teams, I remember thinking that I wish we could sign this lad. He was head and shoulders the best midfielder in League 1 and one of the best in the Championship.

Then we finally get him, and despite looking shit hot when we beat Palace, Fleck returns shortly after and plays well enough to get him sidelined.

It's a shame but I did get the impression that he didn't take kindly to being benched. We certainly didn't see a lot from him in cup games either.

At the end of the day, for whatever reason the management team didn't fancy him.

Is he on a season long loan to return to the Blades - he might come in handy next year should the unthinkable happen?

Freeman highlights a failing in our recruitment strategy that might have worked for lower level leagues but not the PL.

We signed promising budget players that CW had (presumably) identified as having something others had not. For some it worked out for others it hasn’t. Then we seemed to have been prepared to take injury prone players and those who’s career had gone off track, these deffo don’t seem to have worked out.

If Brookes stock has dropped because of a lengthy injury and the “bigger” clubs don’t want to take a risk why should we even if it’s at a knock down price? It’s just taking the risk away from the selling club as well as being used as a proving ground for bigger clubs who will take him at a knock down price if it works out.

Its about time we realised these ‘cheap’ options and/or ’punts’ are a non starter at this level. Moose is a prime example rotting away in Bournemouth’s changing room with a questionable attitude and fitness question, Ravel Morrison, Ricky Holmes, Caolan Lavery et al. And the good ones whos careers we revive feck off to richer pastures Conner Coady springs to mind.

Its about time we either find the funds to buy the necessary quality to compete in the league we are in or strat building a solid promotable championship club like Norwich, Fulham and WBA have done using the parachute payments.

Yes, there’s Brewster our new record signing but we’ve only managed him by paying a ransom with no option to cash in on him and use the funds to build, it’s still a knee jerk signing (a bloody good one I might add) but other clubs dropped out because of the ridiculous terms we got him for. Plus he seems a really nice lad but if he’s banging them in he will no doubt want to leave at the earliest opportunity. FFS even Lenny thinks he’s bigger than us.

Whats your point B56? Buggered if I can remember, I think it’s just seven consecutive losses        and the prospect of Citteh, Pooil and Chelsea that’s getting to me.:(

On £30k a week according to this leaked Forest wage bill doing the rounds amongst their fans on Twitter. Not sure how legit it is but looks believable to me.BBE61028-0C8A-4634-B419-CD612A3F9285.png

I'd take Joe Worrall next season if we could prise him out.
Think Burnley wanted him this summer but Forest were asking an unrealistic fee so it depends if Forest want to play ball but yeah he’s decent. He’d be good competition for Egan.

Yeah I think there were reports us and Burnley were looking at him last summer.

Our last two signings from Forest haven’t exactly been great though!

Watching the cup yesterday and saw the center half for Chelmsford playing against prem league club Man city and he looked a great player .He was in my mind man of the match. Also has a throw that is like a corner and they scored from it ,he was a thorn in the man cities side all the match not just in defence but up top to.The tackles and blocks he produced were the main reason they held man city for so long,he was everywhere.

Chelmsford 😂😂 also that’s 30 year old Ben Tozer. Not the answer.

Just posted on the Rumours section about Tozer.
He would stop all the goals from corners etc.
Remember Jake Wright. He had a huge impact on our promotions. 30+ when he arrived?

Although I don't rate him as highly as most - I think someone will take Egan off us this Summer. We'll be shopping for a replacement.

For me Egan and baldock are the most likely to move this summer. They’re the two who have been consistently solid at this level and are a decent age.

Unless of course Forest buy him, as I understand they can under the terms of his loan.
Then again it looks pretty much he'll then be playing in League 1, hopefully with the piggies.

Chelmsford didnt play against Man City last night

Said in the shoutbox, Wilder had Tozer at Northampton and let him go. Therefore, highly unlikely. On the other hand, I have always rated him.

Forest certainly won't buy Freeman if they're relegated - the fee would be prohibitive and he's on very decent Champ level wages, which would not fit with the L1 wage cap.
