I can actually see some logic in taking a midfielder off for an extra striker. They are going to sit back 2nd half so having 3 midfielders with 2 wing backs is overloading a bit. Maybe Moose can come good and get on the score sheet - get himself some confidence back.

I was going to say the same, maybe give it 15 mins then put on a striker for a midfielder and McGoldrick behind the front two if we’re not leading.

I would think we would be able to take a defender of for an extra one up front, as I would suspect they’ll just play with wilson up front.

In someways, not sure the sending off helps us. Newcastle will just shut up shop and defend their box, which they are pretty good at. Not sure we will have the space to get around the back. On the other hand, with our weakness at set pieces, good to have Fraser off the pitch.
