I think I might be in a minority of one, but I thought we were better with the ball than we have been. Problem is we never look like scoring and every time they get in our half, they look like they'll score.

Thought Norwood looked more like himself in terms of his passing but if we had enough fit players, I'd send Ampadu back. Noted two or three times he's given it away and put us under pressure and he's just let Eze stroll past him to score. Far too easy.

Well i actually thought we were playing quite well, but without that killer punch up front we aren't going to score, perhaps Brewster for Moussett ? midfield the real weak link though Fleck trying but not hard enough, Bash' having a bad game by his standards, Norwood just being Norwood.
I was thinking the young lads were knitting together quite well, Osborne, Ampadu, Bogle even Moussett - perhaps knitting might be the wrong word!

I don’t think ampadu is giving his all a lack of quality I can forgive but a few times now I’ve seen a lack of effort and that’s all between the ears.

Some right Anchors on here. Norwood having his best game in months and he still gets ripped to bits. Fleck improving as well but let's slate them all.

I will say that Amapdu needs to go back. Stevens needs resting. Osborne is a trier but he too lightweight.

This game is gone. We move on to the next one with hopefully a few much needed additions to help boost morale and creativity with a dusting of finishing please.

He's still woefully short of being good enough at this level. He's slower than Benny from Crossroads.

Build a team with 8 functional solid players supported by ex-championship loanees and minutemen that often lose a game by the odd goal but sometimes gets a spanking = Sheffield United.

The problem with the second half of that statement is am not sure we have 8 solid players. Dreading our return to the championship now. No matter how we dress it up, it’s not going to be as easy as some seem to think without a new midfield, retention of some of our better players, and a Plan B way of playing. Part of me feels sorry for wilder he’s a legend, but this his ship an it’s not in order.

I’ve defended Norwood before but it’s a bit of a common story with him now. Shying away every time.

but thats always been his game....he has similarities to Duffy.

In possesion: a very tidy player who has the ability to dictate the tempo....great at long range passing
Out of possession: he lacks physicality and struggles. At PL level it’s like being a man short.

Always thought of Norwood as being a player you play at home but drop him for away matches.

Another interesting issue is he’s always likely to struggle in the PL but shine in the Championship..

Norwood has zipped it around with impetus but must be the only midfielder in this league that doesn't tackle. Goal one and goal two down to his lack of any bite.

Ampadu was talked about to be champions league standard but is proving to be u12 level in a relegation fight.

Egan looking slower than Mark Morris - even with a 10 yd start.
