McBurnie also contributes more outside the box and on set pieces. It’s not really arguable.

Yeah Sharp missed sitters in that one game, you’re right.

Let’s not forget the principle reason we bought McBurnie to the club; to score us goals. I thought it was a great signing at the time, but he’s done nothing to justify his price tag. One good game in ten isn’t good enough which is why we are still having a debate about Billy being a more reliable goalscorer. I’ve provided the evidence.

I can’t believe I’m getting into an argument with someone who thinks Nigel Clough is the answer to our prayers. You obviously love mediocrity.

I don’t think Sharp is good enough for the PL, he’d be far better in a top championship side who’ll create regular chances for him. What a waste of a position then. Ffs can you not see why we are rock bottom. We need someone like Sharp. We need Sharp.
 
I don't have twitter, so don't actually know what has been said, but cannot believe that grown men are letting their wives slag off their employers on social media. Billy is a club legend, but is seventh choice striker at the minute by my reconning. In a side that is not creating chances, he is a passenger. I would not be surprised to see him leave in Jan. Fleck looks a pale shadow of the player from last season. He looks like he attends the same gym as Moose and was rightly subbed after around half an hour against Brighton. He has also cost us goals against Leicester and West Brom. Osborne is in the side on merit at the moment, despite him not really being a premier league quality midfielder. He at least sprints to close down players.

Good post but he is NOT right .

The two chances Billy didn’t score from at Southampton we’re not sitters by any stretch of the imagination,
in spite of the myth which has been created and constantly repeated on here .

A sitter is when a player balloons the ball over the bar from 3 yards out in front of an open goal as Mousset did a few games back , with hardly a word being mentioned .

I have seen very few Blades strikers better than Billy Sharp in my 73 years watching us play and McBurnie and Mousset are certainly not two of them , nor will they ever come close to being so .

To be fair, early on it morphed into a discussion about our best strikeforce, and Sharp and Dronnieblade’s genetic links. :)

Well I can't speak for everyone's household, but I would be horrified if my wife was slagging off my employer in public. I am pretty sure that I would be facing a disciplinary action if she did.

To be fair, I think he means in terms of let the man who works at the work place deal with the problem themselves although I could be wrong? I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want our lass shit stirring, I’d sort it out myself.
