It isn't a wretched system. It is a system that works and has worked before and probably will work again.

The problem is he has drifted into putting square pegs in round holes which something he said he wouldn't do. If you are starting a nearly 40 year old Jagielka in at left centre back then you are not playing to the systems strengths.

I expected at half time Robinson to come on or Ampadu possibly Stevens to be moved to left centre back. He made no changes.

I'd try this. Think Osborn and Burke could give us more energy, as well as the extra body in midfield. I'd encourage runs into space and hopefully some balls in behind for Mousset to run onto.

Well they were given a penalty Saturday which was then overturned so they'll definitely get at least one against us.

This means we'll have to score at least two, which ain't happening because if we somehow fluked one we'd sit back and invite the inevitable trouble.

Man Utd could decide to play seven players against us, and they'd still have 75% possession, have more shots, and they'll still win.
